If they rewrite the characters. With 40 characters, I see no room for character developement. Chrono trigger would work a lot better.

No, not necessarily. Just because the game offers the large variety of characters doesn't mean the anime would. A 52-episdode series would give enough time to develop a small selection of the more prominent characters (as chosen by the anime staff), and the rest would serve as side characters, if all of the characters even showed up. When a company animates a manga, many of the characters are often left unused, and it's quite common to find that the anime storyboard is radically different from the manga. I think it'd be the same with a video game made into an anime--They would only use the most important parts, and fill the rest with a different storyline altogether, perhaps.

But yeah, Chrono Cross anime = YAY.

I'd say Final Fantasy, but they've proven me wrong twice (Crystals and unlimited)

Now, if Final Fantasy 6 were told entirely in anime form, I'd love that... One of those things I'd do if I had 100 billion dollars... Buy the rights to FF6 (since, apparently, it didn't go over well in Japan based on Famitsu) for whatever, maybe 20 or 30 mil? Then use another mil to put out a manga, then like 3 mil to make an anime... I'm totally pulling these numbers out of my bum.

Actually, I'd like to see a faithful anime based on Silent Hill... From what I hear, the comics have really sucked, though...

For some odd reason, I don't want an anime based on Metal Gear... Unless it was the first two games. That would be sweet, actually...

I'd really like to see Nintendo let Metroid or Zelda become an anime, because they did that with Pokemon and F-ZERO, but each were licensed by 4Kids. If Metroid or Zelda ever became an anime series, it should be a mature enough to not get taken by 4Kids, hopefully...

4kids goes after a younger demagraphic. Look at what they have liscensed Pokemon, One peice. Even though F-ZERO being liscensed by them is news to me but anyways what they have liscensed have all been basically card battling and monster battling series except one peice. So yea i think we are safe
