Pretty Sammy?
Has anyone here seen Pretty Sammy? Is it a good one. I am such a Sasami fan, and would love to watch it.

I have the two volumes of the TV series (and the OAV which is another volume). I would have to say that the TV series is one of the funniest things to come out of the Tenchi franchise. I believe RightStuf has both box sets on sale right now (13 episodes in each set). You should know that it is in the subtitle only format, but it's well worth it, especially if you're a Sasami fan. And Pixie Misa is hilarious as she continually throws out English words throughout the series. While I didn't find the OAV as funny, it was still enjoyable.

Actually, Tenchi does make appearences in both Pretty Sammy (as Sasami's older brother, Tenchi Kawai) and in Tenchi Muyo GXP in I know of one episode if not two..

I always wanted to watch the OVA/TV series... and now Sasami just came out with her NEW TV series this month in Japan, Sasami: Mahou Shoujo Club (Sasami: Magical Girl Club). Art looks VERY chibish for this series.

He doesn't? That's odd! I only saw the first DVD, and it is implied that Seita knows Tenchi, but it's odd that they never show him.

In one of the Tenchi manga I have they have some extra comics and in one of them
Pretty Sammy is surprised to see Tenchi and it's explained in the note that Tenchi doesn't exist in Pretty Sammy.Pretty hilarious really.
