Quite right, Eirewolf... actually any age is too young in my opinion. Jking jking... but still you should not be thinking about that right now. Preferably, start thinking about this after high school. Your hormones are going to slow down enough and it won't cause you any heartaches. I don't have any heartaches but I do have some moments that I regret.

You have years to worry about the intricacies of the female gender, and in truth, you will never know about a quarter of the female mind. Just enough to survive... just enough to know that what she says is law and there is no refuting it.

I am being serious too.

That's not necessarily a bad thing. Nothing would make a guy happier than having a girl as him out, rather than the other way around.

I wholeheartedly refuse to accept that last part...maybe that is why I am single. :eyeroll:

I know so. :) He would not neither laugh nor scream, but rather be extremely flattered, and probably be intrigued by the fact that you were not the same as most girls.

Hmmm... I tend to disagree with that last statement as well... I value my husband's opinion and feelings. However, I have been told on several occasions that I am not like most women. :)

I was exaggerating, but yet when I say that I was serious, I was. I am going to be a strong husband and not take trivial bullpoop from anyone. Yet why fight over any thing? Fighting only comes from misunderstanding. She will know that I will not control her and hopefully she should know that she can't control me. I am going to pick my battles.

Okay, well, if you meant it that way... :thumb: Fighting over little things is silly... choosing one's battles carefully is a very good idea in marriage. :)

If you mean it that way, then of course I agree. I've learned the hard way not to let the little things get in the way. The trick is learning which things are really little, and which are not.

Sorry if my earlier statement offended anyone.

Now that isn't very hard, yet so many forget to just apologize :shake: . In all truth, I was using that phrase as an analogy to want the media is spewing to us everyday. Have you ever seen most of supposedly family sitcoms that are on today? There is an increasing idea that a husband should be weak and subjugated by the wife. You know what I mean.

Hmmm... I am too iffy on this matter... I see the relationship my parents have and in all respects my mother is the dominant facter in their marriage, of course my father isn't a push over either. *Shrugs* I guess picking your battles is easier as you age.

This is enough from me, I really need to stop putting non-experienced logic everywhere. How do I know how a right marriage should work? All I got is gut feelings and observations.

Oh well at least I know one thing: YOU ARE TOO YOUNG!!!

That is if she will accept an apology. Forgiveness is the other important aspect of that truth...if you can't forgive then it won't last long.

I agree with you about the sitcoms...they are really disgraceful when it comes to positive male role models.

I am also not married, but I have had my fair share of relationships. Unfortunately, none of them have turned out well. However, I have learned a great deal from them. :thumb:

I meant that as more of a generalization and not in the context of marriage, but that adds a whole lot of truth. If you can't forgive your enemies than how are you going to forgive your loved ones? Or if your love can't forgive her enemies than how can she forgive you? That is why there is that one little phrase, "Love thy neighbor" because hate carries over.

Luckily, that is just common sense logic and doesn't need to be experienced.

Forgive me for taking this so much off topic. That is a genuine apology, the other one was but it could have been taken that it wasn't meant as one, and I loathe when off topics happen. Definitely because of me.

My first was at 14 and it was a painful memory. We just weren't ready for the emotions and commitment. Took me a year to forgive him with the grace of God.

To be fair though, I don't think there's any kind of 'look' to look for. Most ppl just notice how much attention the girl gives the guy than usual. And girls detect this earlier and quicker than guys. If you can trust the girl's friend, ask her.

But I'm not encouraging relationships at such an age. No disrespect intended, shamanking...just speaking from experience

Gee, guys...don't be too hard on your sisters...sure, they're not easy to understand but it's also difficult for us to understand guys' minds as well. hehe

I agree you may be a bit to young, I dated once at thirteen and its was disasterace. (I should have listened to god!) I think you should wait until you are 15 or 16, but alway pray about it first. If you get into a relationship with the wrong person, Its going to be a disaster. So pray about it.

Somebody mentioned that guys like it when girls ask them out.

o_O

Maybe the guys I've liked were actually robots. Or aliens. Or something

^_^; Some guys might like it, but in my experience, they don't. Not like I've asked a lot of guys out or anything. Only two. But still.

It's hard to tell when someone's interested in you because everyone is so different. Some girls might be flirty or just obnoxious, and also a girl could like you and you won't know it until like, your 10 year high school reunion XD

I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you. You have other stuff you need to pay attention to ^_^ If I could go back, I'd probably wait until I was at least 17 or 18 before trying to get serious with anybody.

Ok girls...that's your cue to start a thread about why you think guys' minds are confusing. That would be very interesting.

You needn't feel bad about the thread, it happens to everyone.

A thing about peoples' minds in general: everyone is so incredibly different it is impossible to create even a template for either gender. My style of thinking is drastically different from anyone I've ever met, male or female. But this topic has run his course, as the thread author's situation is over. No more talk of that.
