GUN on PSP?

Postby everdred12a » Fri Apr 14, 2006 2:06 pm

I got the new GI in the mail today, and one of the previews that caught my eye was Gun Showdown. I read the article over, and it seems like a port of the console game. Now, I was sort of interested in the console version, but heard that there were some basic gameplay issues that made the game not as good as it could have been.

So, I think I might want to buy this when it comes out. My questions are these, though:
1. As I said before, it seems like Gun Showdown is going to be a port of the original. The article hints at this, making a number of references to the original, but I don't see a point where the article comes out and says 'this game is going to be a port'. Does anyone know if it will be a port or an original story built off of the original?

2. If it is a port, how was the console version? This game is supposed to correct the gameplay problems the console version had, but I'm asking about content, the quality of the story, etc. (BTW, I don't necessarily mind having some violence and language, but I'd still like to know what I'm in for)

Any sort of help/information is appreciated!

Thanks for the info ^_^ That article pretty much confirms a port, which I'm kind of glad about. I'll definitely be picking this one up once it comes out!

I was expecting an M rating for some reason, but the fact it's T is that much better.

A T rating means they're cutting a lot out of the game... I think there's all sorts of sexual stuff in the X-box version, not to mention it's definately violent...
