someone really did that! her brain flipped things but it took a few days. after the flip she could do anything anyone else could. when she took the glasses off, everything was flipped again. her brain made things right side up in a matter of hours this time.

Um... If you gave me a pair of such glasses, I probably couldn't resist the urge to put them on. And then I might fall down.

The human brain is an amazing thing... I've read about studies where people were "blinded" for several weeks, and their optical cortex took on other tasks instead of just laying on the couch being lazy.
