Correct. Since all the anime is hosted on youtube. You can still watch them by simply going to youtube.com

Good. I checked out the site and they even have some anime that KAF didn't, so I might alternate between the sites even after KAF is back up. They did say it'd be a week or less.

I think you might just have something wrong with your connection, or they were having difficulties when you tried to use it. YouTube is working fine for me. It does that every once in a while, something happens where you can't search or the entire site won't load. The way to get around not being able to search is if you have something in your favorites, or watched a show recently so that the address will still pop up in your address bar - go to the profile of the user who uploaded the video and you can still look through their videos to find the next one you are looking for - unless of course the user took it down.
