Sheesh they haven't even finished releasing 2nd Gig here in the States yet! What's Solid State Society then? Is it another series after 2nd Gig or something? Considering that the original series as well as 2nd Gid are both prequels to the original movie, if they're doing another series again, wouldn't say it's kinda drawing thing out a bit much as far as prequels go, assuming that what this new thing is? What's going on here?

The first thing that popped into my mind when I read this was "the're going to make a GITS with Solid State music on it? I hope that they have some Norma Jean in it." Or something like that.

actually am sure stand alone comlex and 2nd gig are actually 'stand alone' from the original film and innocence. they are an alternate storyline am guessing solid state is gonna be SAC pt 3. it should be cool, both SAC & 2nd gig were very good.

I had read that Stand Alone Complex is intended to take place in a parallel universe where the Major never met the Puppet Master. To be sure, the hard-boiled Batou of the second movie isn't much like Stand Alone Complex's joker.

Sweet I love everything Ghost in the Shellish. I expect the same awesome producton values with this one. Just a few more days.:)

And yes you two are correct the GiTS TV series are seperate entities from the movies IE the Major never met the Puppet Master in SAC.

OK, that title is just plain too long. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - 2nd Gig (nine words, eleven syllables) was bad enough, but I draw the line here (ten words, fourteen syllables). :P :shake: :dizzy: Of course, both are mitigated by having snappy nicknames (2nd Gig, "Triple S" or some such for the new installment).

Couldn't you just see a wonderful fight scene set to "Creating Something Out of Nothing, Only To Destroy It?"

I think that "The Shotgun Message" might work a little better...Seeing that it's about a minute and a half long...Though what you said would make a beautiful scene also Kkun.

Haha, "The Shotgun Message" would be sick. That, or "Bayonetwork: Vultures In Vivid Color." The way Bayonetwork rolls is smooth like Pepto Bismal and would work well in a fight scene.

Just how many times are we going to have to see another scene where Motoko jumps off another building without a parachute before she finally wises up?
