First I was at home and bored, so I turned on the tv....low and behold a anime came on that everyone says was horribly dubbed and edited, so to make fun of how bad it was.......I watched it.....................

First off it was quite humorous to make fun of the badly edited cigarettes into lolipops, and guns into jokeresque punch guns and pop guns... So from this merriment I took a break to go get some food. That...is when I heard it, the sound that would forever haunt me......

It was a noise so profoundly evil....so profoundly stupid all at the same time, it made the mind weep tears of pain. Looking around in shock to find the source of the evil noise I could not find it, and then it hit me again like a punch to the nads kind of "hello im here", it was the telivision and the butchered anime.

From this I cautiously walked in and found the main character, straw hat and all, doing weird shinanigans which the badly edited plot couldnt even spell out. Then he made the noise that could only be caused by the hellspawnish son of bozo the clown and the ceo of evil itself........ I mean 4kids. I then quickly shut off the telivision to save my sanity..............

Yes, One Piece can loosely be referred to as the dub that should never have come into existence. At least not from 4Kids. I can't watch anything from them now that I know their CEO is a man who is only interested in the concept of anime and not anime itself, edits out violence, stressful situations, and minorities, does not believe children are interested in and never will like reading, and is only interested in showing the anime so kids can buy the products they put out for the shows.

When did this happen? I never heard anything about it. But still, I'm sure it would've been horrible.

But c'mon, who doesn't love Super Soakers and other gag weapons, not to mention lollipops and guys who magically spew 'mist' from their mouths? </sarcasm>

While 4kids stuff has been bad in the past, this was just downright cruel and unusual. Seriously, 4kids needs to quit while they're behind.

Go to toonamiarsenal.com (a great site, BTW) and click "Downloads" on the far left.

Go to the bottom of the list that appears and click on "Almost Toonami." You'll see another list of shows--Slayers is somewhere in the middle.

I just watched the show and i figured I should post my thoughts MasterDias. Oh and I think luffy was flying through the air or something when he was making that wahohohowowoaooooo noise..... I didnt watch that long I quickly turned it off...

Fox kids had the rights to Slayers, but never aired it. They just sat on the rights so noone else could air the show
