Well I am a guy. I love Fruits Basket, and I am not shy to say so. Great art a good story and cool characters, whats not to love?

My favorite character has gotta be Tohru, speaking as a guy. She is to cute. Kyo is cool. I like his firey personality. Kagura is cute but slightly scarry. Kisa....IS TOO CUTE!!! *ahem* Momiji is probobly my favorite male character. I like how he is so mature yet is always so carefree and enjoys life. Haru is also cool. I think the quite and cool male characters are cool (Mabye thats cause I wish I could be silent and cool), though black Haru is another story. Rin is probobly the best looking female (Long hair rocks) but I am not sure what to make of her. Yuki is ok but he is to unsure of himself. Shigure is funny. Hatori is cool for the same reason Haru is. Yeah pretty much the only zodiac characters I don't like so much are Akito, Ayaa (a little annoying) and Hiro. Hiro is a little to bitting, he needs to lighten up a bit.

I am also a male Fruits Basket fan, it's one of my favorite series. My favorite characters would likely be Tohru, Yuki, and Kagura. Tohru is such a nice and kind person that it would be hard to dislike her. Yuki does seem slightly aloof but he also seems thoughtful and kind, two traits I admire in people. And Kagura may be scary but she means well and is cute in a strong way, even if she goes a bit crazy sometimes..

I was one of those who voted for the Yuki x Tohru couple, even though I actually like Kyou more than Yuki. I just thought Yuki and Tohru looked good together. But I must admit it now seems that Yuki is going in a different direction. Oh well, Kyou x Tohru is good too!

I'm fairly new to the FB world, so I don't know lots about it (yet). But I TOTALLY Love it! I fell in love immediatly! And after watching the anime, I had to get the manga to know what else happens! I love it to pieces! KyoxTohru is my preferred pairing. It seems that that's a lot of peoples preferred pair as to YukixTohru. I can't choose a favorite character though. I like Kyo, Yuki, Shigure (he is a slight bit perverted though), Hatori, Kisa, Tohru, and now I'm starting to love Haru. At first I didn't, but now I can't seem to not like him. Its impossible! Ayame annoys me though. He's... ah, I don't know. He's Ayame, and I don't like him. He does make for some funny moments, I'll give him that.

i hate akito but his eyes......what can i say. the one thing i notice most physical of people, or characters is their eyes.his eyes send shivers up my spine.but i hate him for abusing poor yuki.and what you guys were just talking about.the only thing that bothers me about ayaa is his english voice actor.yes yes i admit it im a dub fan.for me its just easier to do other things then need to stare at the screen all the time.but thats off topic.newaysi love haru's theme music the hard version.its played when the school president gets onto momiji for the uniform, and haru goes black.its so so i dont know rocky.i dont remeber the other times its played though

Haru and Rin!!! The manga seems to be leading towards Tohru/Kyo anyhow.... and although I was completely for Tohru/Yuki at the beginning, I'm beginning to lean towards Tohru/Kyo. I think that if Yuki and Tohru hooked up it would be like Yuki's character took some steps back. They whole point is that he starts doing things on his own and starts trusting people, which is what I think will start happening with the student council deal.

The only other anime I consider to be a rival to this one is DNAngel. Sometimes I feel like Yuki, okay, most of the time I feel like Yuki, not really fitting in for who I really am...and I'm trying to be like Tohru....she's such an inspiration :-p Kyo is funny and awesome....and Shigure...well, lets just say I liked his funniness so much that I cosplayed as him last Otakon x_x Although...it was very unChristianlike for me to go around saying "high school girls....all for me" when I myself am a high school girl.............

Anyways.....Kisa is cute. Momiji is cute too. Its been awhile since I've seen the whole series, although the first DVD I've seen like fifty times...and if Rin is the monkey person...then...yeah, I don't like Rin...very annoying and bothersome.

I only have the first manga, although I would like to read more...I've heard the manga is better than the anime and you meet the rest of the zodiac in the manga. I have all 4 DVDs of the anime though...although I need to find the last 3...misplaced them when we moved...I so want to watch them again.

Out of curiosity, did anyone discover the hidden blooper track on the first DVD? I found it at it was hillarious!
