Disgaea: The Anime

While this series may not the be the most christian (it is about demons fighting to rule the underworld after all), I am indeed looking forward to it. The epicness of the Prism Rangers has yet to appear, but I'm at least hoping for a guest appearance.

The anime comes out in Japan in April and will be out in America sometime in summer.

There isn't much information released about the anime that I can find at this time, but I guess it would.

April once again! Oy... so many anime starting off in one month! >_< *will kill my bandwith then* As for Disgaea, I've only heard of it as a "rare game" through a friend.

that's exciting.... i hope they do it well and it doesnt end up like a re-hash of the game's plot

Man, I want this so bad. I hope they use the same voice actors as they did in the game for the dub. I love the English voices on Disgaea.

I haven't played the game, but I liked the art style of it as well. Too bad I have no way to see it yet. >.>

As far as the game...Laharl is the son of the late King Krechevskoy, the previous ruler of the Underworld. After sleeping for two years, he awakens to find his subjects revolting and general chaos in his kingdom. With the help of his retainer Etna, he sets out to take down the rebellion and unite the Underworld under his iron fist.

Negative. The only person that can play Flonne is Sandy Fox. I will boycott this anime if anyone but Sandy Fox does Flonne's voice.
