Zeriel: "….an assassin of an evil organization called the Hydra Syndicate. My friend and I waged a cold war on behalf of the Syndicate against the Hong Kong Triad. We were their super soldiers. In the end…the Triad was destroyed, and the Syndicate won. After the war, I left, and begun a crusade to destroy the Syndicate to this very day."
Celeste: "Woah…I’m sure your parents wouldn’t be too happy about you being in the Syndicate."
Zeriel: "I never knew who my dad was…but my mom, she was in the syndicate…"

A woman in a white dress sat in a rocking chair, with the Holy Bible sitting in her lap. On the ground before her, was a boy not older than eight, with short silver hair.
Woman: "And so…God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Zeriel: "So…Jesus died on the cross, for us."
Woman: "Exactly!"
The woman smiled. Suddenly, the door chime rang, and the woman jumped up from her chair, while Zeriel climbed to his feet.
Woman: "I’m sorry Zeriel, we’ll continue this next time."
Zeriel: "Ok mom."
The Woman went into her room and hid the Bible under the mattress before going over to the door and opening it. Quinton Velmach stepped into the room, accompanied by four Syndicate soldiers, all wearing urban camo with full combat gear and sporting FN-FNC assault rifles.
Woman: "Mr. Velmach, please to see you."
Velmach: "Thank you Alexandra, we’ve come to take your boy to training."
Alexandra: "Very well."
Alexandra knelt down and hugged Zeriel. Zeriel hugged back before going to Velmach.
Alexandra: "I better not find any bruises or cuts on my son like last time."
Velmach: "Hmph."
Alexandra looked on as Velmach led Zeriel out; Zeriel turned around and saw sadness appearing on his mother’s face.

Zeriel: "…she took care of me, and taught me the Word of God. And I accepted the Christ, and He helped me through those tough times."
Celeste smiled.
Celeste: "So where’s your mom now?"
Zeriel: "She…"
*****
A teenage Zeriel stood in the room, wearing his Kevlar suit. His eyes widened with shock, his face covered with blood.
A woman’s body flopped to the floor like a rag doll, a pool of blood began to emerge from beneath her.
Quinton Velmach looked on with a smirk.
A dark-hooded cloaked man turned around and walked away with his bloody katana, followed by Velmach.
Zeriel’s world suddenly turned black and white.
*****
Zeriel: "…died"
Celeste: "I’m sorry…"
Celeste frowned.
Zeriel: "….after that…I left…"

On top of a catwalk in a massive hanger, two dark-hooded cloaked figures clashed with swords. One had silver hair, the other, black. Both men carried katanas as their weapon of choice, both men were breathing hard from fatigue.
Zeriel: "Zenkormat! I’m going to make you pay for what you’ve done to my mother!"
Zenkormat: "Foolish boy! Your mother went against the Hydra Syndicate and my corporation! She was a traitor!"
Zeriel: "She was my mother!"
Zeriel rushed forward and clashed swords with Zenkormat, the two men engaged in a sword lock. However, Zenkormat was incredibly strong, and Zeriel felt that he was about to be pushed down on the ground. Then unexpectedly, Zeriel managed to summon the strength to push Zenkormat back and off of the side of the catwalk.

Zeriel: "I defeated the leader of the Hydra Syndicate, hoping that would end everything, but I was wrong. The second in command of the Syndicate, Quinton Velmach, escaped and started the Syntech Foundation, which continued the ideals of the Hydra Syndicate. Also, the Syndicate’s head researcher, Sebastian Dracus, led a secret research campaign that would give birth to a new breed of super soldier…like myself, but his plans were stopped by the FPA recently before it could be brought to fruition."
Celeste: "So who do you fight now?"
Zeriel: "Now, I fight the Syntech Foundation, to end the legacy of the Hydra Syndicate for good."
Celeste: "I can see why you wouldn’t want to trust just people, you’ve been through a lot."
Zeriel: "You have no idea. When you put trust in people, they’ll betray you when they don’t need you anymore."
Celeste: "That’s not true."
Zeriel: Not true? I’ve been betrayed not by just a friend, but by someone who I’ve known for practically all of my life, a person whom I share the same blood with!

[I]It was a cold spring night…the rain was pouring down in great torrents, blurring out the neon lights of Hong Kong in the skyline behind a dark hooded cloaked man with shoulder length blonde hair.
A silver-haired man in a jet black Kevlar combat suit knelt on the ground, wounded.
Blonde-haired man:“…Know that after this day…if I ever meet you again, I will be your enemy…â€
