Recommendations?

Postby hawaiishirtguy » Wed Feb 08, 2006 12:27 pm

Hey so I just finished the series Kiddy Grade and I'm wondering does anybody have any recommendations on series with similar flavor? (that quasi-scifi-fantasy-teenage-kids-save-the-world-in-the-not-too-distant-future kinda idea) Thanks.

Stellvia? But I don't really know much about that one.

And...uh...Evangelion? That one's pretty controversial, though.

If you're not up for Evangelion there's always the somewhat similar RahXephon (which I actually enjoyed much more than Eva^^)

Thanks for the recommendations ya'll. I've already seen the Evangelion series (didn't think it was that great) but the others I'll definitely have to have a look at. Thanks.

Geneshaft

Actually RahXephon is different from Neon Genesis Evangelion. The only similarity is that they're both mecha series.Dual is closer to NGE.

Agreed. It seems more like it has more in common with the Escaflownemovie. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm beginning to like it myself.

I would recommend Pilot Candidate, but good luck trying to find a station that carries it, much less on DVD.

That's the only one coming to my mind!
