The only difference between this one and the Perfect Collection is, this will not contain the movie in it.

Oh, rock on! That's a great deal! *is now glad that she waited to buy the series*

Are you sure it's not a thin pack?
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Amazing how affordable some older animes have become now. When the first Escaflowne "perfect" collection came out waaay back in the day, it was $200 (of course, that included a limited figure too, but still) fast forward 5 or more years later: 50 bux. Wow. I'm buying.

They just keep repackaging everything. I got the last edition and have no intention of double dipping.

Likewise... I also had a copy of the movie seperately at the time so had to sell it. Although, now that it's so much cheaper I'll be kinda mad if the packaging is alot better >_< I'm a visual person, and the blue box with the "Escaflowne" logo just didn't cut it :/ Pretty blah. Now if it had winged Van like some sites showed it would like like, I would appreciate it better^^ Tenshi! Tenshi! Tenshi! ^^ Er-
Draconian
I have vol.1 and will probably continue to buy one disc at a time since it is easier for me moneywise to collect anime that way.

It's easier for you moneywise to pay 210 dollars for individual DVDs instead of 50 dollars for a whole set? Yeah, THAT makes sense.

I just thought I'd tell everyone who's been looking for an opportunity to buy this box set that Rightstuf is currently having a 40% off sale on all their Bandai products:

That means, according to my math, that you can buy this box set for a phenomenal $27.00 (plus shipping.)

Yes. The world is a wonderful place in which to live.

But can get it for that price when the box set will not be coming out on April 11.

Here is a pic of the box.

Escaflowne box set pic

I somewhat like the pic and wish maybe they used that one for the very first box set.
