Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. Amazing how affordable some older animes have become now. When the first Escaflowne "perfect" collection came out waaay back in the day, it was $200 (of course, that included a limited figure too, but still) fast forward 5 or more years later: 50 bux. Wow. I'm buying.

Likewise... I also had a copy of the movie seperately at the time so had to sell it. Although, now that it's so much cheaper I'll be kinda mad if the packaging is alot better >_< I'm a visual person, and the blue box with the "Escaflowne" logo just didn't cut it :/ Pretty blah.
