Anime Castle - good place to shop?

Postby Hitokiri » Mon Dec 26, 2005 10:44 am

I was looking for some wallscrolls (having gotten one for Christmas) and some f the wallscrolls that I want isn't where I usually buy stuff at (animenation.com). I did a Google search I found anime castle which has alot of wall scrolls. I prefer legit - not bootlegged - products. As well is this website trust worthy? Their prices are kocked down alot and whenever that is like that; I usually assume it's bootlegged.

Anyone know about this website?

I'd be interested in some thoughts on this as well. I've seen some stuff on them and it looked like most of their DVDs at least are legit, but I can't really say for certain.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

 Looking for a GOOD music mix? Check out these stations:
Grey FM Heartland -- a mix of Country and Contemporary Christian music (Listen Now!)
Grey FM Downtown -- a mix of mainstream and Christian pop and rock music (Listen Now!)

More real stuff...

I bought from them once. The product I received (a music CD) was a Taiwan bootleg from Son May. Of course this was on a product not available in the US. If it is an item available in the US, you might want to make sure it is in fact that item. I see they have categories for DVDs and Hong Kong DVDs. I'd stay clear of the Hong Kong ones. The regular DVDs seem to be close to market price

I will look around at the webpage and see if they sell legit stuff or not.

But I do know this. I have heard from people that have brought from them, that they ended up getting bootleg stuff.

I, too, have gotten bootleg items from Anime Castle, so I would dissuade buying from them. Both my wallscroll and the Ranma 1/2 OST I ordered turned out to be Taiwan knockoffs.
