I tried on the pads until I exhausted myself. Then i spent a ton of time with the controller trying to unlock sakura.... Main question is this, is it possible to unlock sakura by playing free play mode or do you have to go through that stupid mission mode....

Anyways on a more upbeat note some of the songs I have unlocked are pure awesomness. I really find myself liking the challenge version of the one naoki song (I think the title has something to do with being burned) and the hard jrock song. Cant forget about all the previous ddr songs (gah I want sakura!)

I don't know. I just failed a whole bunch of missions myself (don't step on the down arrow? ugh). I think you have to play it to unlock stuff.

I think A's and stuff like that also depend on the number of Greats you get. If you get too many Greats, you might not be able to get an A. I know that greats effect AA's, but I'm not sure if they make a difference between A's and B's.

If you get all arrows = AA
If you miss like one or two, you still have the chance of a AA
All perfects = AAA

Sakura is a fuuuuuuuun song

How can their be missions in a dance game?

Yeah I am rather mad at konami for forcing me into the dance master mode. I have always hated it and stayed away from it prefering to play what songs i wanted at what difficulties and settings i wanted. But I dont think you can unlock sakura this way and I really want that song...

The scoring on DDRX2 is a little harsh...I've noticed that if you get all perfects and greats and get just one good/almost/miss, you get a flat A. Which is lame, but...eh. I still like this game a heck of a lot better than DDRX1. It's actually a challenge to me instead of just...hey, play a bunch of songs and hope something unlocks.
