Hmm, looked at the oekaki itself and didn't see anything new there...

BOOSTER: Hey, No.1! Where's my cake?!
SNIFIT 1: Booster, Sir! There's a 70% chance the object you're standing on is a cake.
BOOSTER: What? THIS thing's a cake?

(in response to an interview question "Do you have a pet peeve having to do with this biz?")
People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

Guys I think he's like one of those modern artists who draw like a white rectangle and name it "untitled" or "composition of white and white". Seriously, would love to see your art Knives :)

When you find yourself in the company of a halfling and an ill-tempered
Dragon, remember, you do not have to outrun the Dragon...
...you just have to outrun the halfling.

My brother said he went to this art place once where you just walked into a plain white room and turned on and off the light. And people payed money to see it. That's just sad.

And yet, I've been warned by my art teacher that I might be spurned in "high-art" circles, for doing mainly fantasy art... :eyeroll: That's okay; much of what they consider "high art" is, IMHO, lame and pointless and unbeautiful. But, you know what they say about the eye of the beholder...
