I know what I'm getting, although I doubt that my dad will get me anything. All he gave me was a check for my birthday.
#1 easiest way to let know people what you want for Christmas: email them your amazon.com wishlist.
Subtletly is for people who want socks on Christmas Day.
I was watching The Daily Show yesterday, and Jon Stewart was talking about "black friday," which, for those that don't know, is the day after Thanksgiving when people go insane buying Christmas gifts. He said that, although sales were high, black friday only accounts for 10% of a store's revenues. That means we still have to by a lot more to make Jesus happy (his words, not mine). That just reminded me of all of materialism that has infected the Lord's birthday.
