Kino's Journey

I recently saw this DVD in a shop, but I never heard of it before. Is it a good series, what is it about and is there anything in it a Christian should be concerned with? Just asking.

Not too sure, I saw the trailer and I thought it look pretty good. I eventually want to check it out.

I do think there is a bit of violence though, but I think i'll be okay.

I saw the first episode when it was in an issue of Newtype a while back. I have no idea how much that one episode reflects the rest of the series, but I thought it was extremely impressive. Rather slow paced, but very well written and beautifly animated.

He wants them to learn to walk and must therefore take away His hand; and if only the will to walk is really there, He is pleased even with their stumbles.

Healing hands of God have mercy on our unclean souls
once again. Jesus Christ, Light of the World, burning
bright within our hearts forever. Freedom means love
without condition, without beginning or an end. Here's
my heart, let it be forever Yours, only You can make
every new day seem so new.
