Little Snow Fairy Sugar

I am currently seeing this serious and am really enjoying it and was wondering if anyone else had seen (seeing) this and enjoyed it.
It is more like a "for all ages" but it is still a great anime to me and worth seeing. Does anybody else feel this way?

I rather enjoyed the first three episodes when I borrowed it from the Library, though the DVD was malfunctioning (or was that the player?) after those three. It would take some kind of surplus in funds, a rare condition for a college age student without a job who doesn't know who would hire him, to keep watching though. I even made an edit of Phil to make a picture of myself.

Gypsy liked it a lot as I recall. You can read her review in the (where else?) review section. It's third from the top, I think.

I also enjoyed this show very much. It's very cute but also carries itself in such a way that an adult would like watching it. I was just looking at a Right Stuf email I got and they have the box set on special right now for $60.00 as it was originally $180.00.

By the way Shoob, heads up. Right Stuf has their Viz sale going with 40% off DVDs. Time to preorder Maison Ikkoku Box 6.

Well, maybe I should finally give in and check out Snow Fairy Sugar. Right Stuf, here I come!

And yeah, I found out about the Viz sale recently. Time to build up my Maison Ikkoku collection some more (not to mention Boys Over Flowers... yes, it's pretty good so far  ).

Oh, man, there's too much to buy. And I've got to get the second volume of Jubei-chan 2. And ADV just had a huge Labor Day sale, with $5 DVDs. Decisions, decisions...

I've seen the first 3 discs, and so far it's been a good anime. Not incredible, but definitely good. Cute and heart-warming with some good characters. I like the opening and ending too. Both great in their own ways.

The story is about a girl named Saga who always has everything in her life planned out. Then one day while coming back from her job, she finds a small snow fairy who has collapsed of hunger. She gives the fairy a bit of a waffle, and the fairy (named Sugar) realizes that Saga can see her, so Sugar follows Saga around, which leads to Sugar messing up Saga's plans, and thus Saga's dislike of Sugar (at least at first).

Sugar also is trying to find a "twinkle," a mysterious object that she needs to become a full-fledged season fairy.

And, that's pretty much the plotline in a nutshell. ^^

Oh, I thought there was just the OVA. A whole series of Uber Kawaii. My list to purchase is endless. My finances less so.

26 episodes plus an additional special that deals with Saga when she is in her teens thinking back on a play that she was involved in while Sugar was with her.
