Voices of a Distant Star images?

Does anyone know where I can find some good screencaps of Voices of a Distant Star? Or does anyone at least know what kind of shoes Mikako wears?

I'm considering cosplaying as her soon, and I'm having a hard time finding decent pictures for references.

I'll put the DVD in my computer and take a couple grabs off it for you if no one has sent you any.

Try Google the phrase "Voices of a Distant Star" into the "Images" portion of google. I found quite a few.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. Your best bet is just to do what mangafantic said and google it. I tried some of the mor epopular anime image galleries and got nothing.

I tried that. About the only image I could find was the dvd case.

Shoorai, if you could take a few grabs for me that would be awesome. Mostly, I just need to know what kind of shoes Mikako wears.

I saw some at an image gallery called Northarc anime pictures. I think that's the name of it...Try googling that sight.

Here you are, yukinon. I specifically focused on her shoes. It seems she wears tennies in the opening sequence and loafers elsewhere (if she wears shoes at all).

She does go barefoot quite often. Well, that gives me options if I can't find the right kind of shoes. :P

Gotta match the socks, though. She wore socks a lot while she was in the mecha.
