It starts in about two weeks and they have already started airing the ads for it.
I wonder when it's regular time is going to be on Saturdays. It make a nice
intro to Zatch Bell but do you think they'd actually cancel Justice League Unlimited?
Or they might simply put Zath Bell on Fridays and then Naruto would be on before
One Piece or they might simply air One Piece Mon.-Th. like they are now.
Ok,I'm still guessing here so until they have the regular schedule up..

Any word yet on the DVD releases? I'm assuming they'll do the typical release-every-other-month as is done normally with anime. However, I hope they release like 2-4 discs each time considering how huge the show it. They did this with Rurouni Kenshin since it's 22 DVDS; every other month 2-3 DVDs would come out rather than just one. This way it won't take an eternity for the whole series to come out! Let me know!

They'll have edited DVDs with four episodes on them, and eventually something called an "Uncut Box", and I have no idea what that means. As long as it isn't the same uncut as the "Uncut Dragonball Z", I guess.

So why only edited DVDs? I can't imagine the show being any higher than 13+; I've got all the mangas so far, up to volume 7, and there's nothing insanely violent and nothing really sexual in the slightest save for Narut's <ahem> "special move" and the occasional sarcastic joke. I hope they release uncut as well. I'd hate to have to wait even longer to see the "real" show if all they release is edited at first....... <single tear>

The Zabuza Arc get's quite violent in the anime from what I have seen though nothing compared to the manga version. Later on though like the battle with
orochimaru and sarutobi
and
orochimaru vs jirai and tsuname
, it can get pretty violent. What irks me is the edited DVD's. DVD's are meant to be unedited, not edited. You have the edited version for the televsion and then tape it off.

Is this show good? I can`t find a direct thread for it that`s not old, and i didn`t wanna gravedig.

I just got into anime shows like One Piece, Zatch Bell, ect. Does Naruto have good action? I like DBZ`s style. Oh, and what about corny jokes? I don`tl ike corny material at all although in One Piece it doesn`t bother me that much.

If One piece is put on weekdays only then I can`t ever watch it. I think a half an hour instead of an hour will settle thing since the weekday slot and weekend slot are on completely different sagas.

Didn't you read my post? I must not have made it clear enough...

There will be an Uncut DVD Box released at some point in time.

The edited DVDs will come with four episodes, and the uncut boxes are as of yet unknown.

Naruto is a long series so it's probably best to save up for the boxset anyway. At least, IMO.

If you like One Piece, Zatch Bell, and DBZ, then chances are that you will like Naruto as well. Yes, it does have a lot of good action scenes.
