What's everyone's favorite song from the Digimon series?: My favorites are Spark (Junpei's image song), With the Will (Frontier battle theme) The Biggest Dreamer (Tamers opening) and An Endless Tale (Frontier second ending)

I REALLY like Digimon Adventure 02's second ending, Ashita Atashi no Kaze ga Fuku. Recently I've grown quite fond of Ken's image song, Only One, too. Oh, and of course Daisuke to Ken no Kaimono Carol - that song is a deadly weapon of cuteness which I use to torment my friends quite often. Baby, Christmas da ze!

Hey I still like her! She wasn't as bad as J.P. (no offence J.P. lovers) I loved her oufit, And her big hat in the first season!^^

I liked Mimi, too (though I liked her better in the first season with the cowboy gettup; her look in the second one, not so good).

Oh, and Fireproof, you may want to remove that link. ^^; I know CAA doesn't oficially support fansubs or downloading anime, so I think you'll just have to PM people who want it instead.

Zoe is in reality Mitsuki Sanada since they're both played in the dub by Michelle
Ruff.
My favorite scene from Digimon:Frontiers is when they're at the beach and the
Toucanmon steal the boys digivices and Zoe sees the Toucanmon peeking at
her through the hole and she screams and the boys all come running and she's
still changing so she chases them out and finally when they all come back in after
she's changed they start to wonder who the peeping tom was and everyone
suspects J.P. until Tommy reminds them he was out swimming with the other
guys.

Oh it was in there, but the dialogue was just majorly changed (which is why it makes more sense in the orginal than the dub). The one with Dagomon/Dragomon and Hikari gets spirtied away pretty much to that dark world.

Dagomon's Call/His Master's Voice,
From what I can remember, the entire plot of that episode was how Dagomon wanted Hikari to be his "Queen." They obviously couldn't have that in a kid's show so they altered it...which is why that episode doesn't really make sense in the English version.
I always thought that a story arc about Kari's powers would have been interesting...ah, well.

But, yeah, Digimon is what I credit for getting me interested in anime in the first place.

I originally watched digimon because it was like pokemon, and then when my mom decided to make us stop watching pokemon, I watched it all the time. I ended up liking it more, because it has more substance and plot. Like I said, for one particular summer, I was extremely into it. It was pretty much my first anime.

... my digimon bt is at 82% with no seeds. *sigh* I might have to get on irc and ask someone to seed for me.

Well, I think its stance is more neutral than anything. So long as I don't start a thread about fansubs, I don't really think anyone will care.

Digimon's darker than Pokemon.What I like about it is that they never make it
easy for the kids to win their battles,every version they're always throwing some
monkey wrench into the works to make it hard for them to win.Like in Frontiers
where just when they think they've won everything is complicated by the arrival
of the Royal Knights or in Tamers when Leomon dies protecting Jeri and the D Reaper uses her sorrow to get into the Real World.
It isn't easy for any of the Digidestined.

D reaper... man it's like Tamers nostalgia! I remember I never did get to watch the whole show but I remember different things in the plot that everyone always talked about.

D Reaper... (there was more than one wasn't there?) Alice/Arisu (never can tell if it's the Eng or JPN way of the name) and her Dobermon... or in church today the sermon was on soverignity and I randomly remembered that I first heard that word from Tamers with the "Digimon soverign" which was Zaquimon or however you spell it! (pheonix anyhow). I remember I always wanted to see the eps with all 4 spirits (Qinglongumon, umm the turtle one, and Bahuimon)... then I found out that the 4 animals were seen elsewhere in anime due to the legend ^^ (Like the 4th Inuyasha movie). Never could pronoucne they're names right, so I'm thinking it's more of a Chinese myth than a Japanese one.

Ah yes... I really wish I could see Tamers more than any other series, just for the fact that I never gotta watch it all! And Ryou! Who could forget the cameo Bokura no Wargame/02 character that became a big part of Tamers!

Frontier is the only Digimon season I saw every episode. I didn't get in to Digimon till the second season, and it was already several episodes into it. I watched the first season on weekday’s reruns. I can never for get how scarred Fox kids left me, Every Saturday I’d wake up super early *other shows I watched* waited all that time for Digimon, they show the previews for the episode and then I'd hear it...."Welcome to Fox sports!" UGH! I'd just stare blankly at the TV. I don't know how many episodes because of the stupid interruption of sports. Luckily I did catch the second season on summer reruns so I only missed half of one episode out of that season. I missed sevral episodes of the first season, and one of tamers. Man now I'm really wishing that they would put it back on normal TV.

I read something like that too, but I also read a lengthy esay about how the Ryo in Tamers is actually the same Ryo glimpsed in 02 (having journeyed across different realities) in the same place, so I'm not in a hurry to believe it.

I don't know all the detailes, but yeah, it's the same character, but the Ryo in tamers isn't the same Ryo in 02, same character design, not the same person. Ryo came from a digimon video game in japan. Aparently he was there and stopped a bad guy called Millenniumon. *thats the guy being destroied in the flash back Ken has when he got the dark spore in his neck* The Ryo character from the video game was so popular that the creaters desided to put him into the Tamers season.

I'm not sure about Alice, but didn't Dobermon become "Gani" which was some bird-shaped jet that Dukemon/Gallentmon (took a sec to remember his eng name) rode on? It'sb eena VERRRRY long time!

No, Gani was the Ark that took the kids back home from the Digital world. Dobermon gave Takato and the others the ability to bio-merge in the human world. Remember they couldn't Bio-merge digivolve in the human world cause they wern't data.

That's right, SOK. Also, Dukemon was later able to merge with Gani, entering this sort of Super-Mega form where he had this big, white wings on his back (also the form he used to beat Jeri's D-Reaper double).

I find it interesting that Biomerging in Tamers led later on to the concept of
the kids in Frontiers able to actually become Digimon when they Spirit
Evolved into the Legendary Warriors.

And how DNA Digivolving in S2 later led up to Biomerging in S3 (Tamers).
