S-cry-ed

Postby Eastkun » Tue Aug 09, 2005 6:39 pm

I've seen up to episode 11 of S-cry-ed on Adult Swim and I like it, but I want to know if the manga is good too. I don't like the mangas drawing style though.

i read about 10 pages of the manga the other day and i have to second the dislike of the manga style, they look quite emaciated. anyways it SEEMED good but i think it differes from the anime from what i heard.

I have seen about half the anime. I haven't read the manga but I flipped through it...and.... was not very impressed. The artwork was.... in my opinion just 'no'. And if the things I saw were correct they made the manga very fanservicey. And I do think it is supposed to be different.

But i was completely turned off from the manga just from flipping through it.

I flipped through the manga before. Just as long as a body is at least covered by 6 square inches of cloth, it's covered,

I really hate to do this but could you try to use the search feature next time, please? S-Cry-ed has been discussed quite a few times now, in addition to an official anime review in the CAA database.

I saw an episode, and to my luck, the first episode I see is a recap. episode. I would like to get vol. 1 on DVD, but I'm wondering, do they take God's name in vain? It looks like an interesting show. Since the first and only ep. I saw was a recap. , i kind' know what's going on.

I think it looked pretty interesting from the few episodes I saw, but yeah, the manga was... weird. Plus, I noticed the manga name was "SCRYED" and not "S-CRY-ED".

Actually, what does the title even have to do with the show? :/

To be honest, I was actually liking what I saw of the anime. Not at first, but it grew on me...I need to find a way to see more, lol.

I started watching Sc-Ry-D in Japanese a while back. I am not very impressed with the series. I always like to give most animes a chance because I LOVE anime but this one really didn't impress me that much
The Straight and Narrow

I chose to walk the straight and narrow road, but one day I lost balance and fell off it. I had fallen onto some sharp rocks and injured myself. There were people passing by who would merely stare at me, and then keep walking. Thoughts of worthlessness entered into my mind, and as I chose to believe the lies, my wounds grew worse. I was so overcome with grief that I nearly gave up... but then a man walked up to me and stopped. Without saying a word, he started to wrap my wounds, he gave me some water, and then lifted me up and embraced me. He then whispered these words into my ear, "I love you my child." As he said those words I could feel all the worthlessness and despair fall away. He then held out his hands. They had huge holes in them. He then said, "Walk with me." I then took his hand and we walked together. Every now and then I would fall from the road, but no matter where I fell, he was always there to pick me up and tell me that He loved me.
