Just as a note of clarification, this series isn't finished in the USA, so different content may still be seen in episodes yet to be released.

Yay! Inuyasha! I liked the show but it did seem to have a lot more demon info in it than I would have wanted.
Sango is awesome though! ^_^

Well, in Japan, a demon and a monster are the same thing.

I've never seen Inuyasha but I've heard of it, no way am I staying up that late though...@@x (and, I don't know if she's right or not, but a friend said that there was some nudity in the show at bath scenes but I'm pretty sure she also said that nothing was shown)

And all and all you're just another brick in the wall

But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

There is some bath nudity (this is not unusual for Takahashi Rumiko; Ranma 1/2 is that way also). Although I haven't seen much Inu-Yasha, it did not strike me as presented in an erotic context when it occurred.

Yeah, there is bath nudity in the manga but usually they tone it down in the anime, and then the American release edits it even more...

It turns out that the TV version is more appropriate, and since I got TiVo, I watch it...so funny... ^_^

I love the relationship b/w Inuyasha and Kagome in this show. It's hilarious. He'll start to act nice and like he's interested in her, and then he'll yell at her or push her away. Sometimes she pushes him away. I love how they don't really admit they care for each other...ah, a love story...

The episode I saw last night--he held Kagome and said he was afraid he had lost her and then pushed her down, told her to go back to her own era, and then pushed her down the well. This is what I'm talking about! Why doesn't he just say it?
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Because to keep the show going shamelessly for 100+ episodes they have to stick to the same tired formula to keep people interested.

I love InuYasha, it's one of my all time favorite series. Next ep for me, as my sig notes, is 103. I'm seeing them fansubbed. ^^

Actually, demon is a bad translation. Unfortunately, it's one that through me for a long time. I avoided InuYasha for a while because I thought they were literal demons (it wouldn't be as bad having demons only as villains, but because InuYasha is referred to as "half-demon", I figured they were making a demon a hero), but later I found out that they are mythical Japanese creatures called "youkai". I wish Viz had just left it as youkai and explained somewhere what they were. It's not hard, they just chose to mess with it. Maybe they thought it was too Japanese. ><

I dunno about inu-Yasha... I liked it at first, but I think it's really mest up that Kagome (the character I hate most) just came in and took Inuyasha away from Kikyou.... i mean, they were so perfect together, and and now this Kagome prep girl comes in and ruins everything for them... it makes me mad.. plus, after like the third time the shows went through all the ones that are on TV i began to wonder if the Inu-Yasha series would EVER end. o_O

I never understand why people insist that Kikyo and Inuyasha were perfect together. I mean, she killed him! Then she died, came back to life, and is now trying to drag Inuyasha to hell with her. Sure Kagome can be upbeat, but she saved Kikyo's life in one episode when Kikyo keeps on trying to kill her. Of coarse, I did like Kikyo until the movie that was recently on Adult Swim, where that little girl died protecting the bowl of Buddah and then Kikyo just gave it to Kagura. And also, Kagome likes Inuyasha just the way he is, while Kikyo was trying to change him for her own selfish reasons when she was alive. However, I actually prefer Kagome/Sesshoumaru, though I know it's never going to happen *sigh.*

You're missing the whole point. Kikyou only bound Inuyasha because Naraku tricked her and she thought Inuyasha betrayed her. She's very hurt and understandably upset, she just needs to realize none of it was Inuyasha's fault.

I think Inuyasha is more complex than it seems.
