Hi, I'm Sheenar

Postby Sheenar » Mon Aug 01, 2005 10:09 am

Hey what's up everyone? It's cool that I found this site. I hope to make new friends here.

I am on leadership at my campus' BSM.
I am in a Christian sorority named Sigma Phi Lambda (Sisters For the Lord).
My fave anime shows are: Case Closed, Inuyasha, and Full Metal Alchemist. I was also a fan of Digimon for the first 2 seasons. I didn't like it after that.
I can help anyone with the homework they have. Except for math. Math owned me in the face.

Well, I have to go. We're taking my cat Holly to the vet. I have to clean the cat carrier. Talk to you guys later. Feel free to email me: jesuslovesme2345@hotmail.com.

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome! Liz is the name of this girl. I'm also a fan of Inuyasha and Case Closed. I agree about the first two seasons of Digimon being the best. It 's nice to virtually meet you.

God bless!

Just messing with you. BSM stands for Baptist Student Ministry and there is one on almost every Texas college campus. We are involved heavily in supporting missions (Go Now Missions) and in outreach on campus. There's a website about BSMs. It's: http://www.bgct.org/bsm

Hope this helps.

Hi...I'm new too so can't say much ^^
"I cried out with no reply and I can't feel you by my side so I hold tight to what I know...your here...and I'm never alone"

"In the moon want to sleep want to sleep with the silence you heal me again, through the long and trying day you save me...in the moon I’m just veiled in the silver shining"

"Forever Love, Forever Dream, I can't walk any further, Oh tell me why, Oh tell me true, Teach me the meaning of life"

"Never change... that's what a fool would say in his dreams at the moment when you're facing the end of everything"

Well, I go to a Southern Baptist church--so I may be considered one. But I really don't enjoy all the division that comes with denominations. I follow the doctrine the Bible teaches and I respect those of other denominations. I may be involved in Baptist Student Ministry but I have some really awesome brothers and sisters that go to the Methodist Student Center on my campus. We all worship Jesus and I don't think it matters what we are of different denominations. We practice this principle in my Christian sorority. We have Catholics, Methodists, Baptists, etc. We do not promote any denomination and we just fellowship, worship, and serve together as sisters in Jesus Christ.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

"Since the creation of the Internet, the Earth's rotation has been fueled, primarily, by the collective spinning of English teachers in their graves."

Amen to that. I don't understand the "my church is better than yours concept".
I'm part of a interdenominational group called Campus Crusade, so I love interacting with different denominations (just like here!)

they were mainly Anglican. In fact one of my ancestors got fined for
skipping services.

I am nazerene...I dont agree with the "my church is better than yours" thing either...its Satan we should be fighting not eachother....but I do enjoy being a nazarene. Being in a denomination makes it easier to get to know people because we always have things together...but thats not to stay I dont do things with other denominations...its just they have churchcamp for nazarenes and stuff. It makes it alot easier because not as many people come so we are not as crowded lol.
