The Christian Outlook On Aldean Chronicles

Postby starwarsboy90 » Thu Jul 14, 2005 11:06 am

Hey Everyone,

Since Aldean Chronicles is my Christian Ministry, one has to ask, what is the Christian Outlook On Aldean Chronicles? Aldean Chronicles involves Demons, Angels and Elves. It is full of Christian Mythology and hidden messages. Unlike Lord Of The Rings, Aldean Chronicles involves direct Christianization. Some of the Episodes are based off of Scripture, since that is the case, is Aldean Chronicles done in context and not blasphemous?

Here, you will find The Christian Outlook On Aldean Chronicles, which will answer most of your questions, concerning the Christian Context in Aldean Chronicles.

I think I've read the outlook on your site before. I think its very good apart from the fact that a fallen angel would not be able to work its way to forgiveness. Angels are either good or fallen and they stay that way. You can be as creative as you want, but try your best not to have things contradictary to Christianity and bad theology. Its hard but you don't want to give the wrong impression to non-Christians or new Christians. I don't believe its blasphemous since you are acknowledging it is fiction and not to be added to or replace the Bible. Just iron out the bad theology and you will be good to go!
God bless you mate, its going great!

truth be told... when I started reading your story, the whole demons wanting redemtion thing kinda made me feel weird, so I didn't keep going. I don't know if its a pivitol part of the story, but even if it was fiction, it made me kinda uncomfortable. But that's just me. Like W4J said, maybe iron out the theology.

From reading your outlook, it seems like you've created a fantasy world that uses beings called angels and demons and there is a God. But the angels and demons in the story sound more physical than spiritual, taking on human characteristics and such. (Forgive me if this is wrong, I'm just going by what I read in the outlook) Don't worry, I'm not looking down on you, because I have the same problem. It's so hard because we are writing human works... anyhow, I loved all your angel and demon references *copies them into another document for later use* But be careful, because some of them can be interpretted different ways.

But its kinda rude of me to comment like this w/o actually reading the whole story isn't it... *bow bow* Sorry! I just wanted to say my little piece. Sorry if I offended you. Don't feel you need to defend yourself btw, I'm not accusing you off anything. I really hope I didn't come off that way. ^^

Interpretation is always the key. Warrior For Jesus as usual, has never dulged deeper then needed ( especially in theology. The series main message is Redemption and however evil a person is, they can be redeemed, except for the Demon. However, since W4J hasn't read up to the new chapters, he wouldn't know or understand. You however Kawaaikneko are spirited at least. I don't believe in Denominations, I'm a Pilgrim and keep my spiritual walk holy and straight. God directs me in most everything I do.

The Spiritual battling is different. There are so many planes of existance and dimesions. While in one, you see a physical battle, in another, you actually see the real battle, in the spiritual realm where Angels and Demons tread, a realm that we cannot see. This series also focuses on that realm. Since you haven't read the series, you wouldn't know or understand most of what I'm talking about.

Sure, it might be uncomfortable to you, becuase you are use to comformity and use to one mind's stake on reality. Which of course is what plagues most churches. As I said, this series is for believers as well. It's true that we are writing human works. If God leads you to write, you will write and not care. Do not judge a Series by only a few Episodes if you haven't read all of them. There are more then just one message, and if you do not go deeper into your spiritual walk, then Satan robs you of a more fulfilled life serving God.

Warrior for Jesus, you are right about keeping in context, which this series has stayed in, so don't judge it if you've only looked at one thing, when there are countless messages and theological messages within. Use your keen senses, Brother. I do try my best to keep it in context, after all, it is a ministry. I will continue to do my best to keep in context. Comments from you and other people also help me keep it from crossing the line. So, thank you for your support and comments people. May God Bless you guys. But really, you should read more, the story, especially the Demon's Redemption doesn't really become redemption by the way (Episodes 28-30)

I don't know what you mean about never dulging deeping than needed? What do you mean I don't really have the brain capacity to handle deep theology, is that what you mean? (lol)
Sorry bro, I guess its my fault, I've only read the first 5 or 10 chapters so I guess I should read the rest before commenting, my bad.
I'm Lutheran but I agree denominations don't really matter, but having faith in Jesus and walking with Him is.
My apologies once again.
I will read the other chapters soon.

I am very very sorry if I offended you starwarsboy. Please understand that was not my intention. I never meant to judge or condemn your story at all. The thing I was uneasy about was not the fact that he wasn't allowed, but the fact that a demon actually pleaded to be taken back into heaven in the first place. I do believe that redemption is for all (except demons).
Since you've said that there is more to it than that, maybe I'll read a little further (time permitting). All I'm saying is that the very beginning of the story is a little off-setting for me as a believer. I didn't mean to accuse the whole thing. However, you have to remember that while you could have deeper theological meanings throughout your story, it is the Holy Spirit that discerns spiritual things for us. A non-believer, without the Spirit, may not understand these things and take them at face value instead.

Once again, I do not mean to condemn at all. Please please please do not take it that way.

Well, you are entitled to your opinions. W4J is right as usual. However, interpretation is the key, like I said. Everyone percieves everything differently. Just follow God and the Word, and that is all that matters. You did not offend at all, Kawaiikneko. The Holy Spirit Guides us in our walks. If God wants us to go deeper, then we will go deeper, even if we don't want to.

Raven's Tear, like my series, does have it's similarities and can be taken in at face value as well.

I haven't read your "outlook" yet, but just a small clarification: Portraying angels and demons as physical personages is not altogether inaccurate. The human form is the human form for a reason. Spirits are the same in form as mankind, only not in substance, being a higher "level" or frequency, or however you want to put it, of matter.

The story really does well at staying within it's bounds, and has some awesomely deep characters, if a bit extravagant at times.

Also, I apologize, as is proper, if my above comment about spirit-matter offends anyone. I tend to be highly philosophical.
Take it like you gave it; what else matters in the end? To be honest, it's all a one-shot test; that leaves plenty of places to go wrong, but how will you ever know? There's a pointer, I will admit. Turn it on, listen to it, feel it burn.

At-Close Paren-Right inclusive bracket-Tilde. Thanks to CAA mods. Taken from Jaden Mental's sig.
