Inuyasha, I would say, as some awesome songs. I like the two ending songs of Outlaw Star, and Kenshin has a few nice ones. FMA and Ghost in the Shell also have nice music. "Inner Universe" is one of my favorites.

You know, I REALLY liked the music for Full Moon wo Sagashite. I know most people got tired of some of the songs...but I never did. I thought they were beautiful and had some amazing lyrics.

DNAngel and the classical pieces from Princess Tutu. (But then, I'm a former ballerina, so I'm biased.)

- .hack//
- AIR TV
- Ghost in the Shell

Best one is the AIR TV, imo, though after seeing all of the anime, some of the songs got too sad to listen to =\

Coooowboooy Beeeebooop. Absolutely fantastic music.

Inuyasha had some cool ending themes. I LOVE Fukai Mori. Other than that, though, the music was just okay.

Full Metal Alchemist has a lot of really good opening themes. Ready Steady Go~

The opening and ending themes for Texhnolyze and Last Exile are good too.

Bebop. The fact that the soundtrack was so large was alone a good thing, but the quality jazz in a lot of it is really nice, and it matches the series well. I'd say GITS:SAC gets a second and .Hack gets runner up with Hellsing and several other series I'm too lazy to name right now.

Helsing has awesome music. I forgot Rurouni Kenshin, but there are only a few songs in it that are truly note worthy.

Oh, and Metropolis had weird music. Like 50's America music.

Ghost in the Shell, Wolf's Rain, Witch Hunter Robin, and the Into theme for Burst Angel.

It's not much more than a curiosity on its own, but the music of Tenshi ni Narumon works with its show with a rare level of precision and poise.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Gundam SEED (unless I missed it... ).

In addition to that, Marmalade Boy and Metropolis have great music.

Escaflowne is hands down probably my favorite overall, as far as bulk enjoyment of the soundtrack goes. I liked Full Moon's songs too, although it took a while to enjoy them because of the total overload. O.o Also, I love the celtic flare in Scrapped Princess (Little Wing is so kawaii!) and Last Exile. Record of Lodoss War also has one of the best openings ever.

Thank the Lord - I almost had a heart attack when I didn't see it mentioned for the first few posts. Cowboy Bebop IS the music. Go - buy the cds. Quickly. You will see.

Cowboy Bebop, as everyone else echoed. Rogie-san suggested Gundam Seed, and I would tend to agree. I absolutely adore the music of Gundam Seed. Also, I think that the Vision of Escaflowne has some of the best music I've ever heard.

Cowboy Bebop is definitely noteworthy... so is Wolf's Rain and Escaflowne. I do also enjoy very much the music of R.O.D. the TV. Wonderful... just wonderful...

Well I agree with everyone when it comes to such shows as Inuyasha,
Last Exile,Ghost In The Shell:Stand Alone Complex,Cowboy Bebop,Wolf's Rain and Gundam Seed I think that everyone has forgotten one of the best
ending themes of all:FLCL's Ride On Shooting Star by The Pillows. :thumb:
I would also add the themes from Serial Experiments:Lain,Dual!Parallel
Troubles Adventure and the entire soundtrack to Silent Mobius.
Oh and let's not forget Samurai Champloo and Gad Guard while we're at it. :)

Rurouni Kenshin has my favorite background music. Fullmetal Alchemist and Inuyasha also have some really nice songs and their opening and closing themes are much better than RK's. I also really like the opening for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

Not Nausicaa.

Giant Robo has an amazing orchestral score.
Uh... I can't think of any others, but the Gundam Wing/EW intros were good.

Are we talking about songs, scores, or both?
