Anyone else seen Tsubasa episode 10 yet? I was really dissapointed. It's episodes like these that really make me worry about how the anime is going to end. I think, if they had tried, they could have finished up the Chun Hyang world and been off to the next by the beginning of the next episode, but instead they had to stick in a bunch of extra stuff with Chun Hyang's mom and the village people. How are they going to fit the rest of the manga into the 16 episodes that are left?

I just started X (saw eps 0-3). Not sure what to think so far. I like some things and don't like some things. I'll keep watching and see where it goes.

God this makes me happy. I'm loving the anime and was just wanting to buy its DVDs, and was hoping there would be box sets. This news is gold. It'll make buying the series so much cheaper, plus I prefer box sets over bare-bones. I can't wait for October 4th (interestingly, that's also my brother's birthday)!

Saw episode 11 of Tsubasa. pretty good, but still kind of dragged out. only 15 episodes left. How are they going to finish!?

Wow, the CCS box is going to be all of season 1. 35 episodes. They should have included the movie too. I wonder if they'll release season 2 by itself or stick it with season 3, since it's so short. and Rightstuf lists the age rating as 16+. O_O.

Why wouldn't it be uncut?? No one ever bought the sucky Cardcaptors dub DVDs. Although I do think it would be nice if they could release all the episodes in english, without their WB edits. I wnder how the box will be packaged. I bet it will just be a box that holds the first 9 individial DVDs, instead of anything fancy. Maybe it will be thinpak cases! I love those.

I think the box will be uncut for certain. Looking at the price, and what Rocketshipper just said, I see no reason why it would be the sucky dub.
As for packaging, I can see a box with the 9 barebones DVDs in it, but I'm betting on more of a style that the InuYasha and Rurouni Kenshin box sets have: all new discs with more eps on each, but less special features. I'm hoping for the former so I'll have the eps and bonus stuff when I buy it.

The original DVD releases didn't really have very many extras , just art galleries and creditless opening and endings. The movie DVDs had more extras. I wish Pioneer had released the Tomoyo Video Diary OVAs. I found two for download once, but I havn't seen any more. They are really hilarious ^_^. Has anyone else seen them??

I've never even heard of those. So the only way to see them is if you get lucky and find them online? Why on earth were they never licensed? I guess if nothing else maybe I can get them when I go to Japan in several years.

I think they were only released as an extra on the CCS japanese DVD box sets. I don't know why they were never licensed, maybe Pioneer didn't know they existed.

Hi everybody. Juust a reminder to the Card Masters, I still have no answers for the quiz from ya'll. Also I may be a little late because I'm currently not home... Where am I? hehe,.... Tolkien, Lewis (my favs), Dickens, Sir Arthur Conan Doyale (cant spell)...hehe ENGLAND!!! and i head for scotland tomorrow.

Also i found this really awesome restaurant in England. .....THE MANGA CAFE!.... (breathless at just remembering) ....WOW manga characters drawn on the walls, an hd tv always showing anime. i posted a forum in the general section (its a restaeraunt and i could not decide if it was more manga or anime. so yall can read it if you like.

The only ones I know of that are uncut are the japanese only dvds of cardcaptor sakura..... i want english! *tired of reading subs ><*

Reading subs isn't hard at all. I can read the subs and still enjoy the visual entertainment without problems. Besides, for CCS, I wouldn't expect a new dub. And obviously you don't want to go anywhere near the current one.

Both movies have uncut dubs. I wish pioneer could have released bilingual DVDs. Nelvana did dub every episode, so they could have done it. I bet WB didn't want them too though. Pioneer had to really draw out their uncut DVd release because WB whined that it was sucking profits away from the dub release.

It is availible...under the title cardcaptors. Nelvana dubbed all 70 episodes and movie 1 but WB got the rights to the english version in America and they only aired and released like 40 something episodes. The dub isn't uncut (they changed all the names and edited out romantic aspects of the show) but the australian CN version is at least LESS edited than the American version. WB actully spliced several episodes together, for no real reason >_<.

Did it say if it was licensed yet? I'm hoping it won't get licensed until after it's finished it's TV run. It would be really annoying if they cancelled the fansubs at the halfway point. Which reminds me; I saw Tsubasa 12 yesterday. It was really cute, and a lot better than last week's episode.

I read it. It really helped me understand it a lot better since I haven't read the manga (yet). I thought it was a good article.

It provided back ground for the main characters of Tsubasa and gave some context for them based on the series they came from.

It didn't mention anything about it being liscensed.

Another manga series!? They already have 3 going (5 if you count Clover, which they never finished, and X, which has been on hiatus for , like, 2 years). I hope they don't overwork themselves. I can't imagine how it is to have to work on three manga series, at least one of which is a weekly series (is XXXHolic weekly too? I'd guess that it is), and then start yet another one.

Anyone here heard about that anime series that CLAMP worked on? I forgot the name, but it aired a while ago, and the artwork kind of reminded me of the powerpuff girls. It wasn't a manga, it was an anime exclusive story. *looks around the internet* Sweet Valerians, that was it!!!

Accoding to babelfish.altivista.com, it means "It is dense with." Don't know that that make any sense.

Anyone pick up the second volume of CLAMP no Kiseki? I was a little surprised by the chess figurines that came with it.
