I just found out some of the best news ever! Go to this site:

Click on News on the side bar. When a list of comes up click on Mew Mew News. When a list of head lines come up click on 4-Kids CEO Confirms... and read the article.

There is hope for all those 4-kids animes there is! Praise God!

It wouldn't shock me much if the main reason was because of tons of hate mail. I've been on several fan forums for series' liscensed by 4Kids. They are hated. Extremely hated.

For the record, I'm taking what Kahn says with a grain of salt until I see some actual proof of it.

Uncut Shaman King and Yugioh releases have been put on indefinite hold.

And there is no profit in making uncut releases from all of their licenses. Releasing stuff like Kirby uncut makes no sense.

Anout the only one worth watching would be Shaman King and maybe One Piece (read the manga folks, heh). Tokyo Mew Mew too... yeah that would be nice to see. Mew Mew Power? What the... Kids can't remember the word Tokyo? Perhaps not...

Names going from Horohoro to Trey? At least Zoro to Zolo made a little sense. It nearly sounds the same at any rate. Okay Manta to Morty explain that one to me. And then they kept Amidamaru, but then I don't even think they pronounce it right.

Most of the time they don't even seem to start out with the greatest shows anyway...

*Flushes 4-Kids down the Jon.*

EDIT: I would be cool to see the orginal Pokemon.

With Yugioh uncut being on indefinite hold, I can't see them releasing ANYTHING else uncut. Yugioh is\was wicked popular and I know quite a few people were looking forward to the uncut stuff. And now,nothing. So I expect nothing...

This was posted on bulbagarden a while ago. I'm pretty skeptical about the statement. It would be nice if they went back and re-released Pokemon with an uncut sub track, but I doubt it. And Yugioh uncut is on hold?? *glares at 4kids/funimation* I'm glad I havn't started buying those DVDs yet *hugs his ebay yugioh DVDs* Although, is that delay 4kids' fault or funimation's? They release Shaman King too right? I'd be willing to bet it's probably Funi's fault, not 4kids. Funimation is EVIL!!!!!!

Oh, what a dream come true! I found some episode reviews for the Japanesse Yu-Gi-Oh!. It made so much of a better story.

Somehow, I can't see them actaully doing it for all the titles. Pokemon, for example, just doesn't hav ea big enough fanbase anymore. It would be nice, though, if they at least realized that what fans really want is to see the story as it was written to be. Not some re-written, dumbed up version. >.>

The Big N is the one that has the control on whether PokÃ©mon gets released uncut, and I can almost guarantee you they won't... I say almost because Conker's Bad Fur Day actually exists though the previous game (the gameboy one, I think) was an E rated game... Also, uncut doesn't mean unaltered... It just means nothing is taken out... They can still change names and dialogue...

Yeah, I won't hold my breath, but it would be nice to see Poketto monsutaazu in subtitled form... If only for a nostalgic sort of satisfaction

Is there an uncut version? I thought Pokemon was at least already made that way.

Of course, it all proves the naivete of today's children. Alot of them wouldn't classify anime as being any different from any other cartoon until they're old enough to understand what anime is. If they saw their favorite anime character swearing and bleeding, I guarantee 4Kids wouldn't be getting as much in from their action figures and other merchandise. :lol:

I have a couple Yu-Gi-Oh mangas(#2 and #3 I think),they're darker than
what 4kids shows on WBkids.Also Anzu is Yugi's oldest friend and the
Kaiba brothers are more sinister.

I'm looking forward to uncut One Piece. If they only release dubbed DVDs, I'll be very upset. Is that what this company does?? Almost every other dubbing company releases their anime with subbed and dubbed options.

4Kids really ticked a lot of people off when they aquired and butchered One Piece, Shaman King, Sonic X, and others. It wouldn't be surprising if these were nothing but empty promises designed to pacify the anime fans.

I'll keep importing the DVD's. There are advantages to being bilinguial.

x_x; I remember having reactions very very akin to seizures when the little boys on my brother's badminton team were asking me why "Morty" was my favorite SK character, because "Trey" was so much cooler. *sobs*
