InuYasha - The Shinchtinti

Postby starwarsboy90 » Tue Jun 07, 2005 7:18 am

Hey Everyone, has anyone seen the new episodes of InuYasha yet. If so, then you have seen the beginning of the section known as the Shinchtinti, when InuYasha and his friends battle the Seven Man Army, led by Bankotsu, all dead mercinaries who are working for Naraku. For those who sub, like I have, I've only seen the shinchtinti in action from Episodes 105,115-123. So, the question is, do you think the voice dubbing is close to the original Japanese voices of the Seven?

I recently finished watching the entire series in Japanese (One of crappiest endings ever). I have only seen 2 or 3 episodes in english on Cartoon Network, I really can't stand the dubbing but I am quite curious what they're going to do for Jakotsu of The Shichinitai for the dub considering the fact that he's gay I wonder if they're planning on keeping him gay and giving him a feminine voice or editing it to make him seem not gay. If you watch the dubbed version on CN let me know!

He has a female voice actor. It took me quite some time to realize he was a man.
Think happy thoughts.

well, since I've seen all the subs concerning the Shinchtinti, I would assume that he would have a girl voice actor in the dubs, like in the subs he does. Now, the rest of them on the other hand, I have no clue.

They just started The Seven Band storyline last week.
The cool part of the ep. last week was the fact that they actually showed
firearms for the first time. :thumb:

off topic:I personally believe Inuyasha takes place some time around
1554 to 1565.
