If you were an anime character who would you be and why?

I'd probably be Honda Tohru from Fruits Basket since I have brown hair, big eyes, I like people, and am ditzy at times. ^_^

Who would I be, given my current personality? Maron from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne; we look alike physically and I'm pretty naive too; or Tohru simply because I freak out and jump easily too. Who would I *want* to be? Tsunami from Tenchi Muyo; she's so graceful and pretty.

I shall now proceed to overthink this question (though hopefully not by much, this time).

What exactly qualifies as "being" any given character? If you take on every one of their traits, then I certainly wouldn't want to be anyone. But if I got their body, that's a different issue. But for that matter, how much of the "mind" is really a part of the "body?" Mental power obviously has a great deal to do with physical grey matter, yet personality is more vague.

Regardless, presuming that I keep my mind and personality, I would select Orochimaru of Naruto. So many shinobi techniques that would be useful in real life...

I'd say Riku from DNAngel we look alike, have similar tastes (ie sports) and and have very similar personalities ^^

But when you think about it, they're nothing alike! XD

I'd want to be Noriko from Kanata Kara (the world she ends up in is amazing!) or Tohru from Fruits Basket.

Ugh! How frustraiting. There are so many characters I like (maile and female).
Maybe Sailor Star Fighter she's really spunky but she likes Usagi so not really.

Sailor Mars is spunky too but she has to run a buddiest temple when her grandpa kicks the can and though I'd turn it into a church I have no desire to be in that kind of position.

Perhaps Dark Mousy, cuz he's crazy fun, but he gets destracted by a skirt waay too easy... [spoiler] I mean Satoshi in a dress was able to fool him to the point he almost kissed him, but that's what you get trying to kiss every cute girl you see. [/spoiler]

AAGH! I've got it! I'd probably be Katorou from Sono Te Wo Dokero... wait but he gets kidnapped a lot.. Ugh! I'd have to really think about this if I'm going to spend the rest of my life as a manga character.

Hmmm... there a lot characters I want to be..... Hmmm.... I would be Kunisaki Yukito from the Air TV series. He was a kind person, who cared about everyone that he meet and tried to help someone with everything in his being.

Somehow I feel as if I have answered this question before (I probably have, more than once.)

Probably the character I most resemble is Claes from Gunslinger Girl, one of the few truly bookish characters I have encountered in anime. (Yomiko Reedman is another, but she is less like me in personality than Claes).

From Fruits Basket, I am most like Hatori Sohma, particularly in his reserved nature.

From X/1999, I am probably most like Subaru.

As far as who I would want to be, although I have thought about the question before, I can't think of any anime character whom I would unreservedly want to emulate. There are far more people in real life that I would want to be like than anime characters. I suppose the main characters of some series are enviable in a way, since at age 15 or 16 they seem to already have all of the answers to the big questions of life. Naruto and Tohru both come to mind--both have not only perservered through their own problems but also consistently help those around them solve their problems.

If I was going to be someone, I'd want to be like, Spike from Cowboy Bebop (yes, I know what happens in the end). He's always calm and collected. He's simply, in one word, cool. I'd love to be half as cool as Spike.

Despite the massive dissimilarity in looks, I'm sorta like Yuki from Furuba. We were both very popular in school, but would rather not be popular. Plus, we both have secrets we would rather no one know.

Yes, I know it's an odd mix, but what can I say? I'm reserved like Hatori much of the time. I'm friendly or cheerful like Tohru sometimes, and I can occasionally be as nutty as spa-lady. Weird!

Oh yeah, and I'm like Shigure in that I like to write... and sometimes I like to procrastinate about writing.

If I had to pick a character from anime that I was actually, truly like, I don't know if I could.

I guess I'd be Kaoru from RK. I like to do martial arts, and have a sort of temper sometimes. I'm also very competitive.(and not the best of cooks )

Or maybe I'd be Tanpopo from Imadoki. She seemed to have such a great outlook even when people were mean. She is a lot like a Christian.

Shigure is an interesting character but he creeps me out. He acts all googy but that look in his eyes, you know there's something brewing under there....

Well, I said Shigure's *writing* ability. Not his sense of humor.

But, honestly, I think he's harmless. And hey, he took responsibility and apologized to Tohru at the end.

And yes, I envy that lady's energy...

EDIT: um, I wasn't saying I was wonderful and beautiful like Tohru, either. She's just one of the few female characters, and I noticed some similarities, but not a ton, so... I'm not trying to brag and stuff.

If I were an animal it be either Toboe from Wolf's Rain or Kirara from
Inyuasha.Since my inner animal is a wolf I'm certain I'd be one of the
