Today

Today is a right of passage for us all.
Today is the day that we stand up and say we are here and that we won’t lay down and roll over.
We are teenagers on the move.
We are on the move to say that we are here and that we have voices that count.
We have our hopes and dreams for the future of this world one without war and sickness.
One without people that squash your hopes and dreams and than point and laugh at you when you fall.
Fall on your face and feel like it all should end right there and now.
But we will get back up and fight again.
Fight to the death.
It is for our cause that we fight for our future and our hopes and dreams.
We are here so say out loud that we are your future caretakers and we will make your decisions for you some day.
So all we ask for is respect and not to let us down by feeling that you screwed up.
You were in our place once so try to think back and see us in your shoes back then.
And then think how we have made it so fare in such a hard world with every one trying to pull us down.
And we will say that we have just done what we can to survive and attempt to thrive.

There are no more heroes any more they all died in the night that the world fell into darknes; and good men are trampled down into the dirt never to be seen again. This is the story of this world of ours the story of the corupt and those that would try to save it from them but become corupt themselfs from their own selfish greed and want for what they do not have.
