That's okay. I wouldn't know how to download it anyway. :)

Maybe I will buy a DVD with part of the first season sometime. I was thinking about it anyway, to see a few episodes in subtitled Japanese.

Plus I haven't seen any of the first season so it wouldn't be a complete waste of money...

I heard some people say that the second series wasn't very good. I watched part of that. (They ended up dueling a boy with blue hair and a secret, right?) But I didn't have a problem with it.

Was it because the other seasons were better, and I just wasn't spoiled by them. (I started on season two). Or is there some other reason? I guess what I want to know is why so many people didn't like it?

And I've got another question. Although I read the first book of Beyblade, I didn't see any of the first season, and I know the two (book and anime) probably aren't always the same.

My question is: does Kai stay a bad guy for a long time, or is that taken care of pretty quickly and he becomes "good?"

For many, the second season wasn't good because the whole thing(the story I mean) rested on a scientist wanting his robot son to be human. Which, I could agree to some extent, was not a strong point to rest a story on.

Many others hate this show because they find a show making a big deal about spinning tops ridiculous, aside from the fact that the characters are unappealing and to some, annoying. To each his own, I guess.

Although he does get a new perspective by the last part of the first season(learning that friends are better than power), Kai practically stayed the same(as far as I can see), perhaps a bit more considerate of other people, but it doesn't amount to a big change. Guess he badly needs a mommy to take care of him, since he doesn't have one by far in the TV series, although I heard that clues of what may have happened to his parents were in the manga.

Okay. I can see that might be a letdown for someone. Especially since he was sort of portrayed as just plain evil, and we didn't really get any clues beforehand.

Well, yeah, maybe they think they're too grown up to watch something about fighting tops. I like the characters, but maybe that's just me. And I must admit, sometimes I laugh when they yell "Let it rip" so seriously.

Yeah, I don't know about them, either. I think he grew up in Russia, but I don't remember hearing anything about his parents (just something obscure about his grandfather
being a villain).
It's clear that you haven't seen the first season....it's a known fact that his grandpa was one of the chief villains of the show. And that's another one of the show's "ridiculous" points: a megalomaniac wanting to take over the world using a bunch of freaky kids and....tops. Oh yeah! Next is massive destruction of cities with giant slippers! (I'm afraid only Filipinos can get the meaning of that though)

Giant slippers?

Yep, I haven't seen the first season. (So, it wasn't really a spoiler??!) Well, I just learned how to do spoilers.

So here's another spoiler for you.

Hey, does anyone know if the 3rd season (G-rev) ends with the fight between Tyson and Kai?

They just showed it on TV here. I wonder what they'll run tomorrow??

If you're talking about the tournament, No. It will only end the first half. I think the second half will be about the heroes vs. Team BEGA, I suppose.

I wonder how far they'll get into the BEGA storyline before they decide to rewind to
the beginning again. The last time Toon Disney aired it they stopped just as the
Revolution was going to play BEGA.And btw:is it ever explained why Tyson's
brother decides to go over to the Dark Side...er..I mean BEGA to begin with?
Can he not get along with his younger brother or was it because he realized
Tyson didn't need his help any more?

What?! O.o I can't believe it!!!

Augh! D- don't tell me any more!

I *hope* they run the rest of it. I thought the tournament might be the end of the season. I'd have been satisfied if it had, but if there's more I want to see it. (I didn't have anything better to do at 9:30 pm.)

They got to the episode where Kenny admits his love for that J-Pop star.

I think it's a case of "father lion throws cub over the cliff and throws him stones to make cub stronger". Not my kind of parenting but that's how it goes :eh:

Week nights they've been airing season 1.It's interesting to watch as
Tyson isn't the Champ and Max,Kenny,Raye and Kai haven't formed the
Beybreakers with him. Also so far no Hilary. :eyeroll:
What is Beyblades without Hilary? :bang:
Then on Sundays they do the latest ones.
I think the reason Hiero deserted to BEGA was that he was tired of being in his younger brother's shadow all the time and not so much that he could
have develop Brooklyn's talent.I think he really was tired of just being
Tyson's big brother.

To be honest, since the tornament ended, I've been recording the episodes, but barely watching them.

I guess I'm dreading to see what they do next!

Maybe the tournament just seemed like enough of an ending to me. Or I just need a break for a bit... I've been watching some other things lately. But in the past, I've enjoyed Beyblade a lot. I think I'm dreading to watch it in case it goes down hill or I find the ending silly or unbelieveable. :/

No, don't hesitate, watch 'em! They're not as bad as I first thought.

What I meant is, he wanted Takao to becone stronger, and the best way to do that is be his enemy...but then, we may all have our own interpretations(that friggin' Hitoshi/Hiro is soooo vague).

Well, I just found out that Takao/Tyson stars in this fighting game "DreamMix TV:World Fighters". Heard that he will be crossing swords(if only they were swords)with unlikely characters like Optimus Prime(?!) and Simon Belmont. Here's how he looks like:
