Yeah i'm into Inital D. I've only got the first series and a couple of the second. I'm looking forward to get the rest of the second series cause I own a Lancer myself... As for street racing, I'm interested in training for a rally licence but that costs money, which is something I kinda lack.

I've read some stuff about the anime, and it's safe to say I'll never bother watching it. I read(in several reviews) that it was 98% cars, 1% characters, and 1% story. I don't even care for the art style. However, I do love the music from Initial D.

That review would be rather suitable...however, it's not necessarily BAD pre-say. Simply put, the series is a bit drawn out...but the races are rather good, and the music is GREAT.

I'd reccomend it if you want something different and ESPECIALLY if you like driving, cars, ect.

it's THE anime for car lovers, especially any who likes street racing (mountain) like my bro. I wasn't really interested in it but he pulled me into it. well, i admit the cars are drawn very well, and the explanation they give during the races is kind of exciting, but the character drawing just.. *shake head*

a series on how the main character, a high school driving genius discovers that he actually does like driving, and the path of his going up to be a professional racer. Car lovers, your anime! :)

Well the art is alright, what makes it very strange is the way they draw lips. And yeah, the soundtrack is great... I've got some of them in mp3 form and its great to listen to.
