*Sigh* I feel like I wasted the day. Instead of cleaning the house, or job hunting, or doing anything really productive... I spent the day playing with Sculpey clay, trying to make an action figure of one my original characters with moveable parts...
It didnt' quite work. Sculpey is not good for making things moveable... it breaks too easily after baking. The head I made came out good, so I salvaged the project by taking it, sculpting more components, and making it a mini-bust.
The character is the main character from my webcomic, Quar Magnus. The handle of his sword is made with a real chicken wing bone (He has two bone handled swords in his comic, but they aren't chicken bones there.)
So, here he is, scanned. He's sitting on my computer desk top shelf with my Trigun mini busts.

Yes, excellent job! Sculpey is an excellent medium to work with. More and more I'm finding myself dishing out the extra money to get Super Sculpey. It's a little more of a challenge to work with, but the final product is well worth it. I'd like to see more!

I'll back that one up. Having only worked briefly with it, I'm not an expert on that side, but I've seen some really cool stuff done with it
(BTW: If you press it REALLY thin, you can make cool clothes out of it too. A bit brittle, but neat looking nevertheless).
