Just think about how long we waited for a Robotech game.

Far too long.

It looks like the Trigun game is probably history by now, but it really would be cool, wouldn't it?

Side note: I never want to see a buck-naked Vash bark like a dog ever again.

If I may be allowed to imitate Midvalley for a second (inside joke, don't ask), "Like, ohmigosh!" I just realized it would be based on the manga! COOL! And now that I'm on my own computer, I can go actually watch the trailer! ...or not. Sorry, I'm not signing up for IGN. Crap.

<<Side note: I never want to see a buck-naked Vash bark like a dog ever again.>>
Yeah. I really didn't need to see that in the first place. And in the manga, Vash told Lina to look away, whereas he apparently doesn't care in the anime. Creepy.

Yeah, I can't see it either. I've got waaaaay too many memberships at places like this, and I don't feel like making another one.

Lol!

Sadly, I don't get to see the trailer, either. Y_Y

Couldn't resist. It was just so perfect, for some reason, that dare. I shall never let it die and continue to make inside references to it until the end of my days.

Hey, maybe in the future I can borrow the rights for the series and make a game! since, you know, I'm going to be a game designer and all...

No.

So, we're to "Out of Time", huh? First anime episode I ever saw. I was so completely lost, it wasn't even funny. I mean, I only had the first volume of the original manga. You guys had better brace yourselves for "Alternative". It's...kind of like the deep breath before the plunge. Everything seems to go downhill until we hit bottom in "Live Through". Also, I have to resist strangling something in an early "Alternative" scene. Those who have seen the episode will know what I mean. x.x;;

Ah. You made me think hard for a second, there. Yeah, that scene sort of made me cringe, too. But the Vash and Meryl part in that scene was lighthearted, and I liked it. I actually liked all the Meryl and Vash interaction in that one. They were both nice to each other. And it's probably one of the only times he actually
calls Meryl by her actual name.
Strange how that's such a rare occurence.

People, I need your attention. I have something very important to say. I, Lunis, am finally giving up trying to understand every little thing in the Trigun universe. :sniffle: I mean... *sniff* It's just impossible! I try and I try, but I never make any headway. Especially around these few episodes, the more I watch it to gather more information, I only have more and more questions. It's depressing! I've always had this drive to know absolutely everything about something I like. But I'm going to try to force myself to just relax and let some things go unanswered. It's hard! >_<

Speaking of major discoveries,
I just now realized that Legato actually forced Chapel the Evergreen with his mind to kill Wolfwood. I noticed his hand looked like it was moving on it's own, not by Chapel's will. I had always thought, when Legato said, "Apparently you're unhappy that I forced you to kill Nicholas D. Wolfwood," that he meant "forced" as in ordered him to do it. But no! He actually literally "forced" him to do it! *proud of herself* ... Does everyone think I'm completely slow for not noticing this in the beginning, or did you guys not notice either?
<<Strange how that's such a rare occurence.>>
Mmm. She made a big deal in the manga (in her mind, at least). I think she mentions it on a drama track, which really seem to be rather manga-based if you read them carefully.

<<Yeah, that scene sort of made me cringe, too.>>
If you ever end up watching Trigun with me, keep out of range of flying objects (they tend to be plastic cups or cats).

<<I, Lunis, am finally giving up trying to understand every little thing in the Trigun universe.>>
It completely infuriates me that I cannot explain every single thing having to do with Trigun. I feel like strangling episode seventeen.

<<I've always had this drive to know absolutely everything about something I like.>>
Yesh, I know exactly what you mean. When I was in love with Dragonball Z, I could probably have called myself a relative expert, given that most of DBZ is rather easy to understand. Trigun does not succumb quite so easily.

<<Speaking of major discoveries...>>
Considering some of my "discoveries", this is a fairly mild "duh". The first time I saw "Paradise", I missed "Sin", so I didn't get any help understanding the previous episode. I have only vague memories of the first time I saw it, though, so I don't really know if I realized your spoiler. I remember completely not realizing certain other things until I was cruelly disillusioned on a thread relating to "Kare Kano". Someday, Gainax will be my downfall...

I've resisted the urge to highlight those spoilers, Lunis.

I've also resisted watching the last three so I can have a Trigun night tonight. A 3 ep marathon... :thumb:

Very good. Your life will be a better one for it. Be sure to read the spoilers after you've seen the whole thing, though. ]I've also resisted watching the last three so I can have a Trigun night tonight. A 3 ep marathon...
Whoo! That sounds fun. I'm going to try to do a marathon of every single episode sometime in July. Wouldn't it be so cool if all us Trigun lovers could meet up at my house (or anywhere else) and watch the whole thing?! Squeeee!! I'm getting too excied. XD

We would need sugar, things to fall off of in fake shock (two of my friends fell off our excersize [sp?] bike in the basement at the sound of Legato-sama's Japanese voice XD), sugar, blankies (XD), plushies, sugar, plastic cups (empty, obviously, for throwing at the screen - popcorn works too), some sort of sedative, something to shield your head from flying objects, my black cat Salem (AKA Kuroneko-sama), root beer, orange soda, Chik-Fil-A nugget thingies, sugar, Pocky, um...and sugar.
I'm totally stoked for this. XD I wanna, I wanna! You don't live that far from me... I have relatives in New Jersey!

I never want to see a buck-naked Vash bark like a dog ever again.

I didn't know whether to barf or laugh...I think I did a mixture of both...

That part where he was in the hospital bed and his eyes started to sparkle at the girl was classic...I was snickering then but when he slipped his hand out from under the blanket like he was waving...that got me cracking up.
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I thought the part where Vash stripped was kind of moving. I don't know if the needed to show his butt, but it showed the everyone the scars on his body, and that he was willing to sacrifice his dignity to save them.

Now I've caught up with you all.

Just a recommendation: don't do what I just did--as in watching all three back to back until 11 at night. I couldn't go to sleep for an hour or so. Those three were some of the most tense and most disturbing/moving so far.

And CDLviking, I think I understand where you're coming from.

Whoops... Forgot a question.

So the PLANTs are like biomechanical alien creatures that raidate energy?

EDIT: Another q: who the heck is Legato, really? If Knives and Vash were the original 'supers', then where did he come from. (If you can't answer the question without spoiling or if I'll learn in a coming episode, then just bash me over the head and tell me to shut up.)

Pretty much.

What exactly the plants are, no one really knows. They are described as a black box. The only thing that is really known about them is how to maintain them.
