Lone wolf

Postby Kura Ookami » Fri Oct 08, 2004 12:38 pm

Friends are few in the wilderness
I, the lone wolf, must fend for myself
In an endless struggle to find food
If i stop i will certainly die

I see another wolf pack ahead
searching for food in this cold wilderness
My heart yearns to introduce myself
But i hold myself back remembering

The last time i found a pack of wolves
They never ever accepted me
I couldnt take that cruelty again
So i wandered away from the new pack

I was a lone wolf
That was my fate
Until the day came
That i would die....alone

This is one of my old poems that i wrote a while back and i just found it. When i wrote it i felt alone like i had nobody to turn toIt was a hard time in my life. I hope you like it.
Absence is to love as wind is to a flame. It extinguishes the little, it ignites the great.

Life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been real life you would have have been instructed where to go and what to do.

When i argue with reality I lose.....But only 100% of the time.

Once you've decided on a course of action, only you can finish it. As long as you remember that, there's nothing you can't accomplish.

Wow, I think that is something that a lot of people can relate too. I've certainly felt like that. Isn't it great that with God we don't ever have to be quite alone and also great when you do find a place where you're welcome and accepted? Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you are posting more poetry. :)

Yeah, I agree with sheherazade. It can be hard sometimes to find acceptance here, but thankfully God accepts us just the way we are, no matter what we've done. Great job! :) Keep on posting, Kura!

Life is not about us using God for our purposes, but about Him using us for His purposes.

Faith is not creating a false reality, but acknowledging God's promises for us.

The dreams I dream for you
Are deeper than the ones your clinging to
Let the old dreams die
Like stars that fade from view
And take the cup I offer
And drink deeply of the dreams I dream for you

Besides, we told ourselves to listen to this guy...
