What video games do you think they should make into anime?

I personally would like a Crono trigger, shining force, or phantasy star anime. I think these all have great potential with thier fanbases.

I'd like to see the Advance Wars series turn into an anime. I've always wondered how it would be like. Also, a Fire Emblem anime would be cool too.

Guilty Gear: Great characters and a great story.

DOA (Dead or Alive): Another one of my favorite fighting games. I would love to see this turned into an anime.

I'd like to see Ace Combat 5- its one animating team short of being one anyways and the plotting is excellent.

We all know that they have been done before like Zone of the Enders, Xenosaga: The Animation and Ragnarok The Animation. They were all video games before they became anime.

So what games do you think would make a good anime?


For me, I would like to see two game turn into anime.

Soul Calibur or Soul Calibur two. I just would love to see a story line anime with this fight base game. The only down side is, all of those creepy fan boys will got their wish and have an ep that will have the women from SC going to a hot spring or something.

Ace Combat 5- The Unsung War

This game had a good story line and I think it would be nice change to see top gun like anime.

Not quite anime, but I always thought that the classic Lucasarts adventure game "Grim Fandango" (one of the greatest adventure games ever made) would make a good stop-motion photography movie. Could be done by the same people who did "The Nightmare before Christmas"

It is out as for as in Japan. As how many eps they have for it, I don't know.

I'm guessing it will be like min 2006, before we will see it here in the US.

Another one that isn't about anime is that I would love to see the Warcraft storyline turned into a series of live action movies. It would all start with Ogrim Doomhammer and spill over to Thrall and lastly Arthas' ascension to Lich King. I can still imagine the cinematic. *Tears of joy*

Kinda like a reverse Lord of the Ring.

Y'all have never heard of it, since it seems like there are *absolutely no* Sega Genesis fans on this board, but they should make a Shining Force or Landstalker anime.

Yes I love sega hence the reason I still buy dreamcast games and shining force 2 was one of the greatest games of all time. and yes it does diserve a show. What makes me sad is that all the shining games coming out now are flagrently desregarding what made that game so great the tactical battle system.

Also A game that would a great anime series or movie or anything.

Actually, FYI, there IS a Fire Emblem anime. It is kinda' old and it's on tape, but I've seen them on Amazon.com.

There was a really fun little PS1 game a while back called Tail Concerto that would make a great anime. The characters were great (lots of anthropomorphic cats and dogs) and the whole thing felt just like what a game based on a Hayao Miyazaki film would be like (you drove around in a robot just like the one from Castle in the Sky). Best of all, the game had sveral really great animated sequences, so we know it would work!
