"ROWR!" The Psoph Monket rises up, bares its teeth, turns around, and promptly bites W4J's ankle.

What is it? A monkey? A cat? A crazy dancing cyberalien/potato cross from outerspace?

Well way back, either in W4J's art thread or CA's art thread, That Dude said my av could look like a golden-topped tamarin (type of monkey) if I added a body to it. I tried it, decided it looked too weird, and just let it sit idly on my computer, lonely and unwanted. ^_^ Then, yesterday I was posting on the I like chocolate thread and wrote something about monkeys... which reminded me of my av. Therefore I changed it.

It is the MONKET! Half monkey, half cat, half me. It has two toes and two fingers, a long tail, and a for some reason orange body with yellow stripes. When it turns to the right and blinks, it doesn't quite match the animation of it blinking to the left.
Hmm... originally I did a brown version with yellow stripes and one without an outline -which one do you like best? Below is the image I made in paint while trying to work out body shape, colour combinations, shading, etc.

rofl! well, i'm no longer "lost" but i still am "lost" i'm confuzzling, ain't i?

anyway, i'm like, a little sick right now. i hardly slept. it was like, wake up at 7:30-8:00 am, have breakfast, get ready for day, get off island, attend whatever we signed up to do for the day, get on the boat, take a nap, take a shower, get ready for dinner, take formal/ casual pictures (if ya can actually believe i wore a dress every night ), watch a show, wander for 1-3 hours (have icecream, shop, etc...), and go to bed around 2 or 3 in the morning. it really takes a toll on ya. mom is like, really really sick, but she'll get better soon. i can still feel the boat rocking...

so, what all have i missed? i'm too lazy to read all that, even though there isn't a whole lot to read. i'm a brat, aren't i? well, i'm gonna go look up what the last thing was i posted for Silver Wings, and i'll add a bit more. i did get quite a bit of writing done on there. sorry, sora, but i didn't have the time i thought i would to work on Shades of Gray.

Even though it was the middle of the night, Isilan was wide-awake when he came to greet Kaylin. Frightened, She fell into his arms, and started to weep softly. Isilan did all he could to calm her, but it was not until after she had come in out of the dark of night that she could stop the tears.

Inside, there were maps, trunk, food, clothes, and various other items strewn about the flet. Bags of different sizes hung by slender silver hooks on a wall. Next to them there was a barrel of walking sticks: some short and thick, others tall and slender, yet all were worn, and beaten, sturdy and reliable. One of these, a black staff with red vines, and gold and gray serpents chasing each other with a leather strap had been lying by its self on the floor. In the barrel there was another staff like it, only it was white, with green vines, and the serpents were blue and silver. There was also a leather strap at the handle.

Suddenly laughing, Kaylin said she had expected Isilan’s flet to be neater and well kept than what she was seeing now.
