Poem untitled

Interesting is it not
how in the midst of everything
that we question so much
that we always have to ask
and instead never believe

How even though he showed us
we want more
even though he freed us
we are never satisfied
is this the greatnes of humanity?

We are so weak
yet we claim strength
and instead we wallow in filth
and don't turn to the one who cleans
our many sins away.

Who are we?

I love your two poems! They remind me of when I'm in that quiet, thoughtful, reflective (like your other poem which is what got me thinking about this) mood and think about the nature of God and the nature of man. Again, great writing; if you ever have any other reflective poems I'd love to hear them.
