There's a lot of English in the show, much of which is unintentionally hilarious.

I like it a lot, though.

Can anybody give us a rundown on content? Everybody's raving about Beck, and I'm curious if the content is going to keep me from liking this one?
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Ok, theres actually very little in the way of bad content in the anime, though theres 1 (or 2) scene's with brief nudity (2 charachters go swimming naked in a pool), umm, though there is infrequent swearing, usually in english throught the anime, (which is a mixture of japanese and japanese-spoken english). Thats about all the negative content i can think of just now.

The anime itself has a great soundtrack, a good solid storyline, with charachters that you really get attached to, and who get alot of good story development. It was one of those animes that leave you sad when its over, because of the quality of the show.

Of what gender are the two people who swim naked? Is it intended to be sexual?

its the main male char & one of his love interests, so there is some chemistry between them in the scene, but they don't do anything, aside from talking and stuff. its more like a character relationship development thing (the scene is a pretty important turning point in the relationship between them), and its at night so its dark.

I've seen some of the anime and read a fair amount of the manga, and the music is actually better on paper. (the voice they hired for Koyuki's singing is kind of... less than would justify the reactions.)
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.

hmm, i think Koyuki's singing voice is good, maybe not amazing, but good enough for what they describe it as, more or less
