oh and i heard cn got nurato and its going to play next winter

What exactly is the "heck" that they need to edit out of it. I'm really quite interested in this show after the trailers, but what kind of objectionable content is in it? :?:
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. Mitsuki got it right or most of it. Inuyasha is not going to be taking off the air. Just that we will not see any new eps of IY untill Aug. FMA and GITS is only going to be taking off the air for 13 weeks, so that Champloo and Paranoia Agent can be showed and then FMA and GITS should be back or FMA will be back.

There's quite a bit of language, violence, and blood. Some fanservice, prostitutes, a homosexual guy, etc. The episode with the homosexual guy isn't really too bad though. He's a Dutch just looking for acceptance in a culture with a more lenient attitude towards homosexuality.

Laugnage, violence, and blood I can handle. The homosexual guy I could do without, but, if there's nothing more to it than you say, I can handle it. But about the Prostitutes-- do we just know they're prostitutes or does the anime delve into it in depth?

Wow Samurai Champloo's gonna be on CN? Well, I was hoping! I stopped watching it b/c of some of the stuff in it, but since CN edits (something for which I usually dislike them for) I guess I can watch it again! WOOoo! ^^; The storyline is very good and I was so sad to make myself stop watching it.

Edit: Unless of course they edit out all the violence... in which case I will be very very very very sad. T__T

No it's just your typical 17th century Japan prostitute and brothel references.

I'm looking forward to s-CRY-ed and Escaflowne, but they'd better not touch FMA, or I'll revolt.

Little too obvious there. Try to work in something a little more subtle next time, Vorx.

are they trying to get us to stop watching? personally it seems like they're showing more and more stuff on there that i don't wanna see, milk chan just seems too idiotic for my taste, and ninja scroll, well, i don't think i need to say anything about that, if they wanted to have sword fighting on there they shoulda just left RK on there and left it at that, FMA's just startin' to get really interesting too, argh!!

They're gonna have to edit Paranoia Agent too.. I saw the first few eps on fansub and stopped because there was a disturbing porn picture... I didn't want to take any chances. Plus, it was rather strange and I didn't follow. I'm sure if I had watched longer I would have gotten it, and probably liked it.

Hmm all I know about it is what I read in the press release. A boy is going around beating people with bats and they go and investigate it and strange stuff happens.

There's a fair amount of sexual content. A later episode is about a prostitute, and shows her on the job.

OK, I want a serious opinion from someone - no fanboys. Is Champloo really good or is it just popular because the director is the same as Beebop? I've read some pretty bad reviews but it does look interesting. What kind of show is it? Action? Drama?

Plot Summary from ANN

Mugen is a fierce animal-like warrior with a unique Bboying (break-dance) inspired fighting style. Jin has a more traditional style but don’t think of this as a weakness because his skills are amazing. The two contrasting samurai warriors are far from friends, yet their separate paths seem to cross anyways. Mugen is wandering aimlessly through the city when he stumbles upon a teahouse where he meets Jin and Fuu (A ditzy waitress, but don‘t think she doesn‘t have anything hidden up her sleeves). Fuu convinces them both to come with her in search of a mysterious samurai that smells like sunflowers and their journey begins. This modernized hip-hop tale breaks the barriers of the common, historical, samurai anime.

Rain.Read the interview in Anime Insider, according to it the show that they did
prior to Bebop was Escaflowne.

A new update about the Adult Swim old news and new news.

On May 3rd at 5:30 AM est, Lupin III ep that was never aired on tv will be showed. The title of it is, Lupin III: To Be or Nazi Be.

On May 7th will be the last eps showed for FMA and GITS: SAC

FMA and GITS will be moved to 1am to 2 am time slot on May 16th.

After that, Samurai Champloo, Paranoia Agent and some of the anime movies that they are going to show will take their place.

Not don't know this is a 100% true or not, but Lupin and Case Close maybe taking over the 5am to 6am time slot. I just have to wait and see when there is a new schedule out for later part of May.

isn't the one to be or nazi be the one where lupin accidentally takes the guys toupe' instead of a piece of jewelry or some other such valuable on accident? if that's the one then they have shown it before, it's actually quite funny i think
