Bambi...

Postby Heart of Sword » Sun Mar 27, 2005 5:28 am

Alright, I KNOW it's a kid's movie, but still...cuteness...

Okay, does anybody else here like it? (And please don't get ticked about Bambi "bashing hunters". It doesn't bash hunters--it talks about life (and hunters) from an animal's point of view. Okay? Thanks. ^_^)

It's sad, but I like it. Bambi is really cute, but Flower is just...aaawwww! So kawaii!
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

[Pink Floyd fan listening to Queen and hugging trees which is also known as taking care of God's creation with a pair of headphones on listening to Nightwish as loud as possible while writing a novel on a computer in the middle of a field filled with Wolves.]

Simply because you chose to belive that, does not make it fact.

I think we know why Steve never liked this film growing up. ;)

I thought the hunters were simply the villains of the story, because every story needs a villain of some type. I mean, we could reverse it and have a bear attacking a bunch of humans.

Of course, when I was little and watched it I didn't know what they were talking about...I was like, "what's 'man'?"

Edit: okay so bears attacking humans isn't quite the same as deer attacking humans. It would be a lot funnier though.

I have to take the viewpoint that it was simply a piece of 'look how bad the nasty-evil-mean humans are for killing the poor little deer' propaganda from the environmentalist activists. (read: extremists)

The villain was obviously Bambi in disguise. This movie was made by the Taliban ::nods head::

Haha...poor Heart of Sword. Evil commenters. Bambi is a cool movie. Haven't seen it in years. The book is kinda wacky if I remember correctly, but the show is cuteness.

*insert anti-hunter propaganda here*

*grin*

Ok I'm done now. ;)

Bambi is a film I can still watch and enjoy. I loved the main character, Thumper, and Flower. Friend Owl is also fun.

*Explosion goes off in the movie*

mechana2015: Does that answer your question?

K. Ayato: Perfectly.

DUDE!!! Man, when was the last time I watched this movie? When I was seven. Why do I not watch it now? It's about a deer. If a wolf or lion or even elephant(rarity) but a deer? I just have sorta grown outta those pants...

while Bambi wasn't one of my favorite movies as a kid, i can remember my parents quoting Thumper's father's advice about "if you can't say somethin' nice, don't say anythin' at all."
