Full Metal Alchemist Trivia question

Postby starwarsboy90 » Tue Mar 22, 2005 7:59 pm

Hey all you Full Metals out there, here's a trivia question for ya, or two for that matter.

1. Judging from the style of clothes, what period of time would you say the series takes place?

2. What country does the show take place in?

If you guys can guess these two questions right, then you are Full Metals!

as far as the time, i'd say judging by the fact that they use guns, but they do use alchemy, that it's prolly in the neighborhood of the late middle ages/ early rennaisance, no exact year though

For some reason, I want to think that anime took place in the Victorian as for the Military Dress that they use.

Well...I think that's a given.

Considering they had trains, I would say it wouldnt have been in the medieval/ renaissance period. I would more lean towards 1914-1918 ;) Not sure about where though

I'm thinking it was 1920 or 1921. Due to a name of a group that comes later down the road in the eps.

Elric_kun got question number #2 right before any of us. I could only think of what era the anime was base on.

I'd have to agree with Wingzero. I think you got E-kun and Wingzero mixed up.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

I believe Impact Alberto is only acting his age once again :eyebrow: :

Impact Alberto's Age wrote: Age: 2

My diagnosis: This is Impact's sense of humor - go on a thread in which he has a problem or dislike and then try to anger, provoke and irritate any member on that thread. Having kids, this is very common behavior of two-year-olds.

While your theory is in part true, I cannot say that it is entirely correct.

Yes, this is my sense of humour. Nothing against Fullmetal Alchemist or any of it's fans, but I'm also not trying to make anyone angry. Do I? Yes. Do I care? Not really.

Just a little nudge/jest, people. Don't take it personally. Besides, mediocre means just okay. Not bad, not amazing.

Dictionary.com wrote: mediocre

adj 1: moderate to inferior in quality] 2: of no exceptional quality or ability; "a novel of average merit"; "only a fair performance of the sonata"; "in fair health"; "the caliber of the students has gone from mediocre to above average"; "the performance was middling at best" [syn: average, fair, middling] 3: poor to middling in quality; "there have been good and mediocre and bad artists"

Now, just ignore my posts, people. They mean nothing. :thumb:
