The only one really clean is Gundam Wing and G-Gundam.

Just about all of the AC ones are not as clean. Well, some more and some are not, but the battles can get bloody. If you can look pass the blood and so, Then Gundam 0080 is a good one to see.

I like a few others, but not what you say clean at times. But I still like 08th MS team better then Gundam 0083, but Gundam 0080 is good.

You may want to look into Gundam F91.

Btw: Can you tell me what or you can remember was the story of Gundam anime that you saw on CN.

I second 0080 if you can get past some blood. It's a great message, and cool animation.

The best in my opinion are in no particular order.

Univeral Century:
Mobile Suit Gundam
Mobile Suit Gundam: 8th MS Team
Gundam 0080
Gundam 0083
Zeta Gundam

After Colony
Gundam Wing
Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz

Yeah, the cleanest are Gundam Wing, G-Gundam and Gundam 0080, although there is violence in all of those (G-Gundam being the least violent). The other Gundam series tend to feature brief nudity, and 08th MS Team tends to be the least clean, with extended nudity in the second episode, brief nudity in other scenes, and some more cursing.

Check out the Reviews section for some Gundam content reviews.

Gundam Seed is a stunning gundam anime well worth a watch, its clean apart from 1 silloetted outline animation in a couple of the credit scenes,

Well Pyro Moogle, I've watched Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, both are pretty clean and have good storylines, but Gundam 008, it's pretty good, if you can see past all the gore!!

My personal favorite was 8th MS Team. Many of the earlier Gundams had rather... unlikable characters. 8th MS Team wasn't quite as deep or developed as Wing, but the characters were likeable and the story was good. I really enjoyed it.

Another one that is good is Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack the movie.

The only problem is, you need to see most of the UC gundam anime to understand what is going on.

Gundam Wing is impeccably clean, only low-level cussing ('d' and 'h'), and tiny amounts of blood. Gundam Seed has the super brief nudity in the opening, as stated above, but the characters also have sex with each other in some episodes. (Not actually shown, you only see the 'aftermath', if you will.)

I want to see the Gundam stuff myself. To date I have seen no Gundam of any kind whatsoever. But it looks good. I want to start from the beginning though. Thankfully Netflix will soon have Mobile Suit Gundam (the first series, from 1979) to rent. But I would like to have a list of everything Gundam in chronological order.

yeah, that does make a difference as there are multiple universes (UC, CE, CC, AC, FC)
But if you just stay away from SD Gundam Force you'll be alright, though G-Gundam is way over the top if you want to stay with some semblence of reality.

whichever one had the burning gundam was really lame. i think thats gundam fighter/g-gundam .. stay away from that one. gundam wing is 50 eps of glorious story with a nice OVA movie, and i also second 8th ms team.

I know what the others are, but I never heard of CC?

Is one of these in CC era? Gundam X or Turn a Gundam.

Edit that. I now know which Gundam is in CC era or whatever it is called. Turn A Gundam is in CC era and Gundam X is in AW era.

Yeah, but I wouldn't watch Mobile Suit Gundam The 08th MS Team after MSG even it is in chronological storyline order, but watch 0080 and then O8th MS Team, since they tell you who won the war in 08th MS Team.

And Victory does go after Gundam F91, its the last UC gundam in that timeline.

Ah, change that about watching Gundam 0080 frist before 08th MS Team. I was thinking of the ep 13, where they tell you want happens a few months later. Really, you can bypasss that ep and then watch it after you have seen 0080. I was looking up the dates that they have them in order and MS Team takes place two months before Gundam 0080.

Tanks WingZero22. I have the official Gundam Guide from Animerica, but I can not find it.

My guess is if they didn't have Gundam Victory listed is maybe, because they haven't relase it yet over here. That would be my guess.

Not sure if they ever will or not, but then again Gundam ZZ hasn't been release over here too.

They better release Gundam ZZ. It would be wrong to release Zeta and not ZZ too.

I do not know why they take so long to release the UC timeline.

Mostly, because Bandai is being more lay back about doing anything with the UC timeline stuff. I think they are trying to push too much at one time. They are trying to get the newer Gundam stuff out now, but also release the UC stuff.

I would think since Gundam Zeta and Gundam F91 the movie has been put out. We will see Gundam ZZ and Victory Gundam out. More or less, Victory Gundam is a spin off of Gundam F91 the movie.

I found the guide its called "Animerica Gundam Official Guide". It is by Mark Simmons and Benjamin Wright. It is a complete guide from Mobile Suit Gundam to Turn A Gundam.

Shows to stay away from if you're starting out on Gundam:

SD Gundam
G Gundam

Shows that would be good to start with:

Gundam Wing
Gundam Seed

The original Gundam show is so lame as far as animation and artwork goes that it might turn off people. You have to 'ease into' it, if you know what I mean. And you have to see the first one for any of the UC stuff to make sense, so that's why I recommend alternate universe shows. Problem is, SD and G Gundam both are horrible, so I'm left with only Wing and Seed to recommend.

Oh yeah, if you don't want to sit around and watch all 43 eps of MSG.

You can get the Mobile Suit Gundam - The Movie Trilogy.

Mobile Suit Gundam I
Mobile Suit Gundam II: Soldiers of Sorrow
Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space

These three movies tell the story of MSG and cuts the fuffy and stuff to where you will not get bored, if you can't watch the MSG.

Aslo, Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, Miller's Report (the movie). a Miller's Report is a compilation of episodes 1-8 of the Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team OAV series. Then you can get the dvd's that have ep 9 thru 13 on them if you want.

Also, there is Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation (movie) that is coming out in Japan on 5-28 of this year.
