Nice....That would be quite the interesting match-up. A vampire hunter vs. a guy who wants to preserve peace and good-will. Who would win...? Hard to say.

Since Alucard is technically undead instead of living, would that make it okay for Vash to slay him?

Good point.... Well I think Vash hates to shoot his gun unless he has too. When we saw him kill Legato, Vash was sad he did it; even though he had to. But, he wouldn't really be killing Alucard... Don't know.

What I've always wonder is why did Legato take orders from Knives when Legato can control people? It would seem as though Legato was the stronger one. Is it because they [spoiler]aren't technically humans but rather forms of "plants?'[/spoiler] Anyone know the anwser?

I always assumed that it was because either Legato got his power from Knives [spoiler]by virtue of the arm he took from Vash [/spoiler] or that Knives was simply the stronger of the two. We know that Knives can also manipulate people from episode 17, and that he has many other extraordinary powers, so I would say he is definitely the stronger of the two.
