Doesn't matter to me if it's on Toonami since it's dubbed and I will definitely be watching it subbed.

It will be treated better than One Piece was. Less edits ._.

I hoped the DVDs are unedited. BTW, a quick off topic question: I know 4Kids in all of their evil has butchered One Piece, however I heard of uncut DVDs. Are they really uncut, and do they have everything in its original way (music, openings, visuals, etc.), including a subbed option?

Hmm, I think Adult Swim would have been better. Easier for the editors, too, but I guess Toonami is second best. Personally, I've been waiting for Naruto to come out on TV. I don't have enough money to buy anything, and I can tape it on TV for free. Since I like hearing the voices in my own language, I don't like buying subs, either.

I'm not exactly sure how the uncuts are set up. I know they've released Uncuts of both Shaman King and Yu Gi Oh. I've heard mixed reviews on them tho.

Forget Naruto, it's far more important to note that Bobobo~Bobobobo will be coming to Toonami soon.

If you don't like it, don't watch it... Darn it! All the fansubs have been taken down! I don't mind it on Toonami. It doesn't take up hard drive space or my precious money.

No uncut One Piece DVDs have been officially announced yet...
However, the uncut versions of Yu-gi-oh and Shaman King are 100% uncut. I haven't seen the Yu-gi-oh ones but I own the first two Shaman King DVDs.

Positive:
-Original openings and endings with translated song lyrics.
-Original music.
-No graphical edits whatsoever.
-A new dub that is extremely accurate to the original script.
-A subbed option
-They are rather cheap compared to most anime DVDs.

There have been complaints however:
-There are no extras on the dvds besides a few previews.
-No bilingual credit list.
-The dub track and the sub track are virtually identical other than name changes; as such, some of the timing is slightly off. Plus, it pointlessly includes things like close-captioned sound information...
-Some of the dub's dialouge sounds a bit stilted/forced. Although, I was fine with most of it.

Personally, I thought that they were pretty good given 4kids' past record.
As for uncut Naruto DVDs, well, Shopro/Viz or whoever had better release them if they are smart, given Naruto's insane popularity...

If only they would ever release uncut Pokemon. I'm certainly not holding my breath but man would that be great.

There was another thread on this subject, but I suppose it is old enough to be irrelevant. I do not, however, feel a need to repeat my thoughts here.

Would it really? I suppose that it is primarily a matter of taste, but I can't imagine an uncut Pokemon would be much improved from the television version unless by "graphical edits" they meant "create entirely new episodes."

UC's right...
Pokemon is a pretty accurate dub as far as things go. They even kept in a lot of the original music. You aren't missing anything, unless you really want to see the 4 or 5 episodes that went unaired.

Hmmmm.... I've heard about the Naruto anime coming to America. Naruto's name will be Nathan and Sasuke's name will be Shawn. At least, that is what I have heard.

And Kakashi's name will be changed into Kalvin and Sakura's name will be changed to Sarah. It was a April Fools Joke Animenewsnetwork or animenation did a while back. No one is that crazy.

I persoanlly dont think this series will be ruined by the dubbed. I wont judge until I have seen the final product. It may be good or even better than the subbed ::hides from insane anti-dub people::

You were a second late

They most likely change some harder names (like "Kyyubi" to "Demon Fox" or "Nine-Tail Demon Fox". and proably most of the jutsu's orginal names. To make it easy for less die-hard fans.

Crap. My most sincere apologies. It was ment as a joke. I didn't mean to offend you, Youko. *turns red.* At first I thought they were gonna change the names. Since the news came from you... [It wasn't anything personal] I'm sorry. I didn't think it would be taken as an offense. *Bows and bangs head on desk. "You idiot!"*
I supose it is hard to tell when people are serious or not. I'll watch what I say more carefully. Nevertheless, I guess it was rather rude.
