An Idea....

Postby Joshua Christopher » Wed Feb 16, 2005 11:08 pm

I was working out today, and listening to one of my mix tapes.

This came to me..

"Call Me, Call Me" from Cowboy Bebop set to Voices Of A Distant Star.

This AMV, if done well, would be great. The lyrics to the song fit VOADS perfectly.

Opinions?

Sounds like a good idea to me. I've never tried to make an AMV (don't really have the resources) but if you have been inspired, I say go for it.

If you have Windows XP, you have Windows Movie Maker.

If I did this, that'd mean ripping DVD, praying the song quality would be good, and then getting bad reviews from AMV.org by all of the crazies there.

That would go pretty good with Voices. I'm planning on doing "Call me Call me" to Bebop also.

The lyrics match perfectly.

Who knows if I'll actually do it.. I'd *like* to do it. We'll see.

My Naruto video wasn't liked too well.

No es un perdedor. You can't go by just one group of people for an opinion, especially if they're stuck up and consider themselves to be [I]the[I] authority on good AMV's (at least that's the connotation I get about AMV.org from the replies in this thread). Even if no one else likes it, if you think that it's well made and you enjoy it, that's all that matters. :thumb:

Heh, I did get a few good reviews, but this one guy totally blasted it like it was the worst thing ever. That's mainly why the score was so low.

::laughs:: I'm ot really even a Naruto fan.

Anyway, download it and give me an opinion.

I did a search on amv.org and I found 3 videos with that song/anime combo. I haven't downloaded them yet (I'm not on my computer currently), but you may want to check them out.

I usually don't do an amv if someone already beat me to my idea, UNLESS they totally butchered the video with horrible, amateur editing, OR my idea is completely different.

I'll make a deal with you, I'll download and leave honest reviews on your vid if you do the same for me :-)

I'm getting your Bon Jovi/Eva video. Get my lame Liberi Fatali video..

Well, I guess I'm going to cancel this project, seeing as it's been done, and I'm sure a lot better than mine would be. Gah.
