The best of...anime villians

I would haveto say Kinives and Legato are come of the best villains. . .right now I am watching Escaflowne (a little more than half the series so far) and Dilandau seems like a pretty good villain in his own right. . I also think that one guy from Kenshin with all the bandages is a good bad guy (I forget his name) and lets not forget the guy from Wolf's Rain (Oops well I forgot his name too)

Sesshomaru is a villain I guess, but one of the villains with a good side.

And even though he's not the most evil EVER, I'm going to rep that guy from Big O...the bandaged one. Schwartzwald. weiiird. lol

A villian doesn't have to be EVIL to be a villian he or she simply has to have an agenda that is opposed to the hero or heroine.
For example in DUAL! the Rara's aren't really evil people they simply have
a different idea of what to do with the alien artifact than Sanada and the
Global Defense Force.
Also even though Mitsuki Rara plays "Ms Rah"she really hates the fact that
they're fighting.
Inuyasha has come across people who weren't evil but had differing
agendas from himself.Most notably Koga,who is his rival for Kagome's
affection.
In Gundam Seed Athrun and Kira are on opposite sides of the Natural/Coordinator War but each has a noble personality and fights for
what they believe is right.

Naraku, hands down. Not just cuz of all the horrible awful things he's done, but because of his annoying "kukuku". You must be truly evil to say that.
And Akito is a bad one too.
(If Sesshoumaru is a villain, wouldn't that make Rin.. an accomplice?? )

There is only one anime villian who has ever really upset me, and that is [spoiler=Berserk]Griffith[/spoiler]
The ending of that series was the most evil thing I've ever seen, and I will never watch it again. I say he is the best villian not because he is cool, but because he is the only fictional character to actually physically disgust me.

My favorite villains are definitely the ones who are not truly evil. Like Vegeta, or Sesshoumaru. By the way, since I'm already off topic- has anyone noticed that in the manga, Sesshoumaru looks a lot younger at the beginning then he does later on the series? Anime-watchers may not know what I mean, but those of you who have the manga, check out the second or third one- he looks like a kid.

I think the politicians and warlords on Gundam Seed make great villians because they show just how power can corrupt even a good cause;also it makes you aware how much Kira and Athuran are more alike even during the time they were fighting each other.

Garfakcy and Kharl from Dragon Knights - evil evil evil. x3; Garfakcy's just pure homicidal midgety goodness, and Kharl, well...you never really know what's going on in Kharl's head, so it's all good. =D

Krad from DNAngel - crazy, psychotic, bishounen goodness. ^^ Need I ask for more?

Muraki from Yami no Matsuei - I loathe him, and the only reason he's here is because he's the ONLY anime villain to ever completely and utterly scare me. ^^; But this is on the no discuss, so I won't go any further.
[spoiler]Utgard Loki from Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok - I loathe him for stealing Spica from Loki in the end, but...ugh, love to hate. ^^; And he shrinks Freyr! X3 Instand brownie points in my book![/spoiler]
