Dreams Of Anime

Postby Tsukuyomi » Thu Feb 03, 2005 11:31 am

Is it just me or do n-e of u guys have anime dreams. One that seems to stick out is tha one that I had about looking for Tamahome. Well, he was known as Taka at this piont. In real life I had my music playing as I sleep, and I think tha opening song to Fushigi Yugi was on "Itooshii Hito no Tame ni". It was a snowy scenery. There was me as Miaka, my brother, Yui, and Tetsuya. We were all looking for Taka. Tetsuya looks at me and says,"Don't worry. We'll find Taka and bring him back home. We started our search. Until tha song ended and so did my dream. Ah, I remember awakening and thinking to myself,"I wish that would of continued." There's my anime dream. Now it's your turn to tell me yours :thumb:

Unfortunatly I have never had an anime dream :mutter: Ironicly my totally none anime brother has them all, not to mention he also has dreams with the Master Chief. Lucky. I wish I did though. That would be so cool.

I don't remember my dreams very often, but I have very vivid "waking dreams", especially when I doze off in class and then wake up very suddenly. :lol: There have been times where I jolted awake and suddenly saw Kantarou standing at my desk, or Haruka (both from Tactics) wandering across the room with his staff and wings out. x3;

I had an "anime dream" over a week ago. It involved Motoko from Love Hina doing kiri kaeshi (Google it) with my Iaido instructor. Motoko was using the backside of her sword while Iaido instructor used a shotgun. It was really wierd. Come to think of it, I believe that Motoko looked like the way she does in the anime, while Iaido instructor looked like the way he does IRL.

As many years as I've been into anime, I've never had a dream about it. Video games, sure, but never anime.

Hmm...I think I had a few here and there, but the one i remember most was the one that involved fruits basket. I was a sohma and i was the horse...probably because i was born a in the year of the horse, and i went to visit kyo and shigure, but for some strange reason, takuto from FMS was there too in kitty form and he had a huge fight with kyo. Then it started to rain, and I woke up and found that i was sleeping on the floor...>_>

I've had a few, but two really stick out.
My first one involved my friend Sara's little sister Rachel getting kidnapped, and I had to team up with Kenshin and Aoshi to get her back. O_o It was really weird.
My favorite one though involved Fruits Basket. It was very vivid. Tohru had lost her memory in an accident, and it was all about her having to deal with that. I think I woke up with tears in my eyes. x.x

Oh, I had a super crazy one once. Well:

I and Yuki Sohma were pair figure skaters more. In the dream, we entered this competition where everyone was skating to Disney tunes. Later in the dream, Shigure showed up and demanded that Yuki stop skating with me, (I can't remember why) but Yuki refused-- probably because I'm alot more fun that silly old Gure-san.

And I have no idea what I ate that night.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I've never had any anime dreams but my friend had one...sort of. Let me explain:

In Interstella 5555, there is a scene where the hero of the movie is in bed looking at a poster of a girl on the ceiling. He falls asleep and he dreams that the girl comes out of the poster and pulls him into it so they can fly through a giant garden together. My friend was determined to have a dream like that with her Orlando Bloom poster so she watched that part of the movie many times. It took a few nights but her wish came true.

I had one of Dragon Ball Z where I was one of the good guys and we faced against a hard enemy. However, this dream didn't take 550 episodes to finish.

I also have had dreams of Love Hina (it was a alternate storyline), Evangelion (i was a pilot and Asuka's boyfriend), and finally I had one of Rurouni Kenshin (hwoever I forget what it was about).

Once I dreamt that Sailor Moon and Sailor Mini (Chibi) Moon held an auction in our church's basement, and it was packed. (In real life, our church's basement isn't that big.)

Another time I dreamt that we were watching the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and somehow Hamtaro and the gang worked their way into it -- though I forget exactly how. (Something about the scene near the beginning with Mr. Coggins, I think... *shrug* )

I've had dreams about video games...playing them, being in them, etc...even having the characters be around me "IRL". I don't recall ever having a dream about anime except for one in which I remember Vash...but I can't really remember what it was about except there was this weird underground building or something and he was trying to escape from it...or something like that...my dreams are sooo weird...^^;;

I do not have anime dreams very frequently, but I did recently dream that ANBU-AonE had started releasing dubbed Naruto episodes--with rather horrid voice acting.

The first time I watched Hellsing, I had a dream that Integra had become a vampire.

heh.. I kinda had an anime dream the other night... it was more like a RP dream.....

I dreamt I was my character "Johnathan". I even interacted with my friends characters.... the weird thing was, we were all in anime style. I was really cool, as this particular RP uses the Palladium Heroes Unlimited rule book. It's really cool, because now I have perfect mental images of all the characters! ^__^

Those are really good dreams. Game dreams are always welcomed to. I never had a Kenshin dream yet, but would love to. I had a couple Inuyasha ones. One that I remember is one where me (as Kagome) and Inuyasha are just walking then all of a sudden we're falling. We hold on to eachother as we fall, but he dissapears on me. Then I find myself in front of a huge castle goin in to find my dog-eared boyfriend. Every time I got close to finding him sonething always took him away further away from me. I sensed (that doesn't look right) another presence. I think it was Naraku playing his mind games with me. Aww, I hate those dreams were I wake up crying. I usually can't remember why I cried, but it usually comes back to me within minutes.

Ok, here's another one. Remember Nakago from Fushig Yugi? on tha show he's a bit evil, but in my dream he was an angel (literally). We were both angels with wings and everything like that. I was being chased around by this dark angel dude on this little peice of land that wasn't quite an island when a Nakago came. Acually I had this dream befor I even seen Fushig Yugi. I guess I decided to name him that because he looks like him. N-e ways, right as Dark Angel San confronts me Nakago (my golden haired hero) jumps in fromt of me and says,"U go ahead. I'll follow after I take care of him." It was so sweet, so I flew off. As I was flying I had one of those speeches in my head like on anime where he also said,"There will be an island up ahead. I'll Meet you there." There I was flying to my amazement over water. I guess I got bored of seeing nothing but water, so I decided to do some flips and stuff. Finally, tha island is in sight. I could see it up ahead when I hear a voice. I forgot what he said tho. Something like,"It's ok, I'm here now." I named it my most precious dream, b/c my mom said if u have a dream where u r flying then that means u will have good luck in your life :thumb:

I know this is a game rather than an anime, but here goes. A few weeks ago i dreamt that I was Tidus from Final Fantasy 10. Me and Yuna and them were on our way to the local Spira gas station/convience store for some reason.(I can't remember, yes, I know my dreams are strange). When we get there, the rest of our group stays in the car while I go inside. Suddenly, I get attacked by gun-toting gangsters. I drop my sword and reach for a 9-mm auomatic pistol. Basically, I shoot all the gangsters and do all these awesome moves. but there is still their leader behind the cash register. As I am about to confront him, my pistol runs out of ammo. I then grab a shotgun from one of the fallen gangsters and unload it on their leader. I then go back to the car, my task completed, and Yuna says something to me. It looked really funny seeing Yuna in her summoner's outfit with her staff and everything sitting in a car. She even had a seatbelt. Then I woke up. I guess this dream was due to too much Final Fantasy and action movies and not enough sleep.

I almost never dream about anime. It stinks, I never seem to dream about what I want to. When I dream it's nightmares about a 1/4 of the time and plain, random stuff about 3/4 of the time, usually.

I had a dream a while ago that I was Rurouni Kenshin.(too much anime y manga me thinks) I came into the Kamiya dojo and Kaoru was there with SANOSUKE and YAHIKO plus her little ol' mother.(she doesn't have one really) It felt like the first time i had met them. We ate dinner and Kaoru' mom kept on buggin' Sano, or something. It was funny. Then everyone went to sleep. I had an urge to leave and sadly i did, leaving cross marks and bending metal into crosses before I left. (my dreams are so random)
I also had a dream that I was with the Final Fantasy X characters, like someone else said. Though, we were kicking around a blitzball in levels Crash Badicoot style. I believe I had been playing those two games then.

Sigh...I wish I had anime dreams...or dreampt in an anime style. I've had some video game-related dreams, and I've had those annoying Tetris dreams you have after playing too much (my mind keeps reflexively creating Tetris puzzles and trying to solve them), but no anime or anime-styled dreams that I can remember. I have very vivid dreams and remember a lot of them if I choose to, but no anime dreams as far as I know. :(

I have frequent anime daydreams though! ^___^

*gasp* He's the bad guy! You aren't supposed to......meep....:wow!:

I had one where I was at an anime convention and, at the last minute, couldn't decide whether to cosplay as Rurouni or Battousai.

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

*heroic leap!*

Hey, she's already untied! How am I supposed to look all macho saving somebody that's not even tied up?! And there aren't even any railroad tracks for her to be tied to! That's it, I'm outta here.

I thought I didn't have any anime dreams, but then I remembered one that was basically Twin Spica on crack.

I was an astronaut living in an astronaut training camp, which for some reason looked just like an underground shopping mall. My room was right off the food court. I was all pumped to go into space, but then I found out that an Evil Man was planning to crash my rocket into the ocean to kill all the dolphins! I knew this guy was evil because he had those Evil Glasses that are so shiny that you can't see the guy's eyes. Even his computer was evil! He even made an animation of his plan with a little rocket going into the ocean and pixelated sprite dolphins floating up to the surface. I was so not down with that, but I guess Evil Man was on to me because he gassed my room. Luckily another astronaut trainee hacked the door (my room had one of those ludicrously techie space station-type doors) and let me out. Then, we put on basketball jerseys, and over the basketball jerseys we put on karate uniforms, and because of that we got superpowers. It was awesome - we could run really fast and fly around and make rainbows behind us and stuff. Well, I don't know if flying around making rainbows was really cool but I'm not against it. Anyway, with our awesome basketball karate suit powers we vanquished Evil Man and saved the dolphins. The End.
